Says the person with over a 1000 posts!

When i see people with that many posts on any message board they are either extremely knowledgeable or too much to say about nothing.
    Which are you?

Not an idiot trying to get refund to something they are clearly not entitled to.
Whereas you are 'bang to rights'.

Can you not see how immensely stupid your opening post was?

To the poster above that knows someone that got a chargeback actioned regarding the concert.

Fair play, your bank are a bunch of mongs with all due respect.
There is no way at all that Visa/Mastercard or amex will uphold the chargeback. Rest assured you will see that come back within the 45 days allowed.

NO CHANCE. im really amazed someone even bothered to try that for you, lets hope they get fined by the relevant company for processing bogus chargebacks. :)

to the OP as stated above you have no chance mate sorry. Take it on the chin, you got no avenue to get reimbursement. I heard on radio she was terrible, however you paid for her to perform, she did( all be it murder).

    All the best

    Thanks for the reply.
that is the sort of reply of was looking for on here.

I can't help but get the feeling that if the OP had said that they went to a U2 or Rolling Stones concert rather than Whitney, that they would have got fairer responses!
    The man without a signature.

I went to see Whitney in concert last week at the NEC and it was AWFUL!
Now i am a Whitney fan but she is still clearly not ready to make a comeback physically and mentally.
I am surprised her "People" and the event organisers allowed her to continue.
I believe i am one of the majority who payed for the expensive tickets and looking for a refund.
I have contacted the NEC who have passed any blame on to the promoters.
It does seem her health and poor performances are getting swept under the carpet for some reason.
How can i persue this matter as i know there were lots of angry fans

I don't understand why some people are having a go at the OP.

You go to a football match knowing you may win/draw due to the quality.

If you went to see a film that had sound problems throughout I would ask for a refund. If I bought a PPV on Sky that had sound problems I would ask for a refund.

Don't get me wrong its a 50/50, I would contact ticketmaster (or where you bought the tickets) and try. although I do not think you will have much luck,

How is it ticketmaster's fault? So you have no claim against them at all.

If you have a claim at all it will be with your travel insurance company.
