Whitney concert ticket refund?

I went to see Whitney in concert last week at the NEC and it was AWFUL!
Now i am a Whitney fan but she is still clearly not ready to make a comeback physically and mentally.
I am surprised her "People" and the event organisers allowed her to continue.
I believe i am one of the majority who payed for the expensive tickets and looking for a refund.
I have contacted the NEC who have passed any blame on to the promoters.
It does seem her health and poor performances are getting swept under the carpet for some reason.
How can i persue this matter as i know there were lots of angry fans

I'm not aware of any precedent for getting a refund when a performance has been poor. You paid to see Whitney perform, and she performed the full set.

Technically, you could argue you were paying for a service, and the service was not carried out with "reasonable care and skill" - but good luck proving that one in court.

maybe , i am wrong then.

However this was not just a bad concert.

It was not just a case of a few bum notes, everyone was unhappy and looking for a refund.

Maybe you guys need to get out more to tell the difference between a good / bad or should have not taken place concert

If it helps I know of someone who has started the visa chargeback under the terms "the goods or services turn out to be faulty or not as described".

It makes no difference whether she was good or bad you paid for the performance which is what she did. She performed. Unless you can find something in the T&Cs that states what standard she is to perform to you haven't a leg to stand on.

I read about the poor performance in the papers. Easiest way as mentioned earlier is to do a chargeback with your credit card provider.

Which I very much doubt they will except. But if they do let us know as maybe I can then chargeback for my TV license for all the bad performances in programmes:D
