Bit fed up as wi yesterday and sts, don't know why as been 100% unless it was to do with not having many syns this week [only 36 up til friday and then had none yesterday] today WILL be better. Really wanted to lose that lb for my stone :(.

Dude - that's lame. I blummin put on the 1lb I lost last week and I've had a very good SW week. Since I weighed in yesterday morning and was upset by the gain I ended up sort of having the day off (think giant pizza, fries and other things I now regret!).

So back on the plan. Aiming to eat more veggies and less starchy free food (I'm a vegetarian so it's green green green for me!). I think the gain could have been a water retention thing but it seems a smidge early in monthly cycle to blame that.

Also, even though I skipped it last week, am going to make self go to step class tonight...

Good luck to the rest of you - have better WIs than me!

Hello. I tend to dip in and out of this thread (a bit like I dip in and out of dieting!! :o). Started yet again last Wednesday, on my own (can't afford or get to class).

I'm veggie so only do green days. I wondered if someone knows or would be extremely kind and possibly be able to look up for me tesco light choices creamy mushroom pasta? I bought a couple today as thought they'd be handy for emergencies in the freezer, and hoping they're low syn as mainly pasta!

    thanks in advance. :)

    Hi everyone,

Well I have followed he Extra Easy Plan for 5 days (today would have been my 6th) to the tee. No extra titbits, nothing left out etc..

I weighed myself this morning - I do this every Monday - and I have put on 5lb. I can't explain my upset. I am gutted to the pit of my stomach. I have still exercised since I started ( 2 x aerobic classes & Legs, Bums & Tums).

It took me 7 weeks to loose that 5lb and in 5 days I have put it all back on :(:(:(:(

    Farmville,

I'm sure that it is a blip. Just try and relax and weigh yourself tomorrow - maybe even the next day. Is it your * week? Were you a bit bunged up? Did you use different scales.

Even if you had eaten take aways every day I can't see you putting on five pounds in five days. I believe a pound of fat is approximately 3500 calories so in order to put on 5 lbs you would have to have ate 17500 calories (plus the 2000 a day you are allowed).

Try not to lose heart, honestly I don't think thats right.

Did you weigh at the same time of day, wearing the same clothes and on the same scales? Is it your star week? Lots of things can contribute to a temporary weight gain - give it a couple of days, stick to the plan and it should come off again.

Thanks Mrsmcawber, I really appreciate you doing that for me. :)

Nice low syns, and cheap (only £1) easy food for when I can't be bothered to cook anything, or need something to grab to take to work!

    Hi all,
Weekend was manic! Think i will sts at WI tonight!
Sat got up at 9am, had free food (green) at about 1pm, went to bed at 3pm til 7pm
Then had free food with bread (heb) with 3 vegetable fingers (6) & spicy bean burger (5) & cheddar (hea) - throughout night had coffee with milk (hea), at 3am had free pasta, on way home at 8am had 2xalpen bars (heb)
Went to bed at 9.30am until 1.30pm, had free food for 'lunch' then for 'dinner' had scan bran with ff cottage cheese & quorn slices, mug shot (2) hifi bar (heb), muller light, 1/4 easter egg (7)
Just a really strange weekend - anyone got any thoughts on if i have done it wrong or not? Shouldn't have to do a night shift for a long time now!
Today i haven't been that hungry - just coffee with milk (heb) and apple - not sure what day i am on today - will decide after WI and shopping!

    fingers crossed about WI

Well done to all loosers x
