Hi All - just not been around on here for a while, but may be back now! Some days I just feel too "down" to do anything - and before you feel sorry for me, I havevery little reason to be like this at all!! Weird, but there it is. Tbh, I usually get on far better on days when I don't log on to the laptop until later - I get sucked in and that's another stretch of several hours gone by. No will power, that's me.
Anyway, I wanted to congratulate Hilstep on joining the Nanna ranks! It's great having a grandchild isn't it? And what timing!
DH is persuading me I'd like an overlocker that threads itself and has no tension issues - tells me that I can spend some of my retirement money on me rather than supporting DS (which has now stopped, not that he has yet found a job but his partner's mother has taken it on for a while) So....may come home this evening with a shiny new toy! At least it'd make me do more sewing, just to justify the expense! Years ago when I purchased my sewing machine I started dividing the cost by the number of items made, and it was only when they got down to a nominal fiver that I felt less guilty!
Am sending good wishes to JC for today - hope it goes better than you fear.
Ladygrim my thoughts and prayers are very much with you. Can't begin to imagine how you feel.
The mist is clearing so hopefully the temperature will rise again shortly. Must go and purchase card for my niece who will be 12 tomorrow. Should have sorted it last week - but totally forgot.
Diva, gather you've not been too good - hopefully on the mend now tho'
Must stop rambling and get on - have a good day folks, and take care.
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!

Thank you. Mark is well thank you. He is just being a bone idle lazy teacher:mad:(troll thread)

My toes are now back to normal (well as "normal" as they ever will be) Big toe is permanently numb on one side but I still have it:j and I have some nasty scars but I figure if anyone gets that close that's their look out!

Cats are fine thank you. All sprawled out on sofas or in front of the fire.
    Its just me that's grumpy:D
At the moment I am managing to upset or annoy everyone I come into contact with:eek: (trolls excepted)

I would PM you but my box is full:o:o:o(some things never change)
Anyway, have been just called a fool which for some bizzare reasone made me laugh and quite cheered me up:rotfl::T(thanks troll)
    Coffee time.

    Take care,
    Ann xxx

Good afternoon. Haven't been on here for well over a week. We were away in Wales last week which was glorious. Beautiful weather, and lots to see and do. Caravan left a lot to be desired, but was fine as a base. Anyway, was a lovely trip and I would like to see more of Wales.

Just about caught up on washing from said holiday, the warm weather helped get it dry in no time. I'm afraid I must confess to using the tumble dryer for the towels though, I just don't like towels dried outside as they tend to go "crispy".

Hillstep - congratulations on becoming a nanna, and also happy birthday for yesterday. You'll definitely never forget your birthday now, and it will be a wonderful double celebration.

    Sunnyday - happy birthday

Mioliere - the house sounds like its coming on really well. Bet you can't wait for your family to visit.

jc - good luck in court.

Hugs to anyone else that needs or wants them. Off to try and backtrack on news on here as not read for so long.

Edited to say: Ladygrim, have just seen your news and I am truly sorry. You are in my thoughts, as I'm sure you are in a lot of peoples. Please take care of yourself.
