    Morning all ,

    Congratulations hilstep
    Sunnyday happy birthday chick :bdaycake:
MSD - great to see you back! Hope you're feeling better xx

Just a quickie from me today - had a very busy weekend with DH's birthday but everything was a great success. Unfortunately I've tweaked a nerve in my neck and have been in agony for much of the weekend :( painkillers don't work on this sort of pain and there's only so much sangria a girl can drink to deaden it :D Needless to say, don't think I'll be at work for long as sitting at the computer is not feeling great already - just have to show willing as our prospective purchasers are here this week (where's that rolling eye's smilie?!)

OS will be v limited as I can't really feel my right hand! Tea tonight is bubble and squeak with l/o lamb.

Hope everyone is well, hugs where needed/wanted and congratulations/commiserations to anyone I've missed xx

    Morning peeps

    congratulations Hilstep & DD!!
happy birthday Sunnyday - have a fab day
Diva - nice to see the purple!

I was awake at 6am, an hour before I needed to be, so I read in bed which was quite nice. It's another beautiful day, but I'm stuck indoors for work today with 11 teens who no doubt will be grumpy because they wanna play football not do educational work!

I'm meant to be on a course today but my asssitant is stuck in Spain so I have to go to work instead.

    Have a good day all

Morning all....................((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) if you need one.

'In the midst of sorrow there is joy' congratulations Hilstep on the birth of your lovely Grand daughter, I am sure she will bring much joy in the years to come.

Continuing thoughts and prayers for ladygrim and her family in the coming days.

It appears to have stopped raining, but it was very cold last night, not sure how cold it is this morning, not actually put my nose out the door yet......

Monday clean, sheets in the washing machine as I write, hopeful it will dry. I think OH is intending to go out to the garden. He was in bed for 4 hours yesterday with his dizzy........he has bowls this afternoon, I will be sewing another cushion, I think I have used up most of my 1/2yds of fabric now, I suppose I could use fat quarters if I have two the same. My machine quilting has come on quite well thanks to the cushions.

Supper tonight cold chicken and salad.........
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

How long is it since I've been on page 1 I wonder??

    Happy birthday Sunnyday.

Congratulations Hilstep....like the name....a cynical friend of mine reckons that the bond between grandparent and grandchild is so strong as they have a common enemy!!

Thinking of you and your family Ladygrim....feel free to use a shoulder should you have the need.

Off to my knitting group in a few minutes, nothing really on needles at present so have a quick decision to make.

The Chinese we used to lunch at on Mondays is not open at lunchtime anymore so we will have to try somewhere else...pity, last week's trial was in no way up to standard.

Back later no doubt....jc, thinking of you and DS

    Morning all!

Flying visit just to say I'm still alive! Big kids all back at school today yippee, and dd3 is off on an inset day, so we're off to the opticians and then to meet a friend for lunch.

OS stuff today has involved yet more washing, the usual yog and bread making, and clearing off the hall table again, kids only came back last night and it was full of stuff! Need to strip my bed and get that washed and aired.

Lunches today were nibbles and bits and some money so they could get something at school, did shopping for a friend and forgot to pick up stuff for us! Doh!

Dinner for the troops will be sausage casserole as I have a tub of cooked sausages to use up! My dinner will be something I grab out of the freezer and take into work!

Have a good day all, many hugs to all in need and congrats where due, will hopefully resume normal service soon and catch up with you all xxx
