Okay well i have managed to clear the cupboards and worktops of general gibble., Recycled loads of plastic tubs etc So now the cupboards can be ripped out and replaced. Very pleased with myself actually.

Actually that reminds me need to replan the kitchen argggggggghhhhh

So the kitchen is now done just need to sweep/mop floor again. But i will do that when i clean the bath downstairs. Right better start in the middle room and clear all the miscellaneous junk.

Oh and i've ordered a new washer from Argos, mine has been dying a death for the two years and after destroying clothes and linen, it needs to enter retirement. Going to get it credit and pay over 6 months. Which i want to get paid asap. Got the shoes in the washer at the mo so will line drying them soon enough.

Although I have not posted very frequently on Flylady I have read the thread for a good few months. There are a lot of us lurkers out there. You dont know me or my circumstances except that I am about to be a retired midwife due to ill health who always gave of herself up and beyond the call of duty, with the letters and thankyous to prove it. I know that there are bad examples out there but there are also some really caring midwives working in very difficult circumstances.

Im obviously not welcome on the fly lady thread as I have challenged one of your illustrious leaders about her attitude and the appropriateness of her post to the thread. Perhaps you need to look at your ground rules again?

Sorry to hear that you don;t feel welcome :(

If anyone has a problem with a post, a user, or a PM, it's best for everyone if people report it to abuse (address in my sig) and don;t bring squabbles into the thread :)

Did I mention it';s a beautiful day in The North :D First load of washing is dry, so second hung out. I'll do another HHI as it's so much easier to do with the laundry straight from the line :T then lunch :D

  • We have had enough misery on the thread lately (as had been pointed out) lets all share some happy things again.

Weeks' planning decluttered (next week, fellow chalks!) wm on, another meeting after school, and then marking, but nearly Friday!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

  • My HHC I
    Hung out the washing
Spent 10 minutes talking to the little girl next door, she gave me a leaf:rotfl: (I did add the extra time at the end)
Emptied the DW and put it on a clean cycle.
    Put WM on.
    Tidied the dining room.
    Sorted the clean washing.

On the subject of midwives when I was pregnant with my twins I have 6 different midwives, they kept going off ill. The one who delivered them was fantastic and when my DD died soon after birth she was amazing. She stayed well after her shift ended.
The others were ok, not brilliant but not bad, they did their job and that was it.
Molly don't take it personally. Everyone has different opinions on everything. (Dont get me started on hairdressers:mad::rotfl:)
To be fair though pigpen is probably more qualified than most of us to comment on maternity care;)

    I've been flying!

Flapped those bingo wings bashing all the sofa cushions.

Hairdresser due any minute so a little sit down and a cuppa - floor mopping this afternoon.

    Hi all.

Hoping that today is a "good" one for Mumto5 (insofar as a funeral can ever be good iyswim). The sun is shining, and I am hoping that it all goes smoothly.

May I add my twopenn'orth on funeral flowers? I have written very detailed instructions for my funeral, and included in them is the following:

    Cut for me no flowers
    To wilt within hours.
If you really care for me,
    Please - plant a tree.

Anyone care for aHHC 12:30 - 13:00? I need to play catch-up with Tuesday's list.

    ......WHOOSH.......
