I have.. decluttered a wall of plaster.. I started off vacuuming a corner and got.. a little .. erm.. carried away..

Mim's CoD is dumped outside anad her new one is upstairs.. in need of floor clearing and the clothes sorting.. I think I may have taken on more than I can handle in there.. Ooops...

*trots off to check out the price of new guttering....* tralala..

Molly.. question me all you like, it doesn't make it any less shocking or appalling that someone in that position does not know how to fill out a blood card.. Unfortunately it is the way of the world that we are all too eager to complain about the bad things in life while not rejoicing the good things. Would it have been quite so offensive to you had it been a consultant or the GP or a nurse on say, the gynae ward I was complaining about?

DS3's middle name is Maxwell.. as close as we could get to Maxine.. the name of the MW at his birth.. What greater honour is there?

Apparently they don't know how to return phone calls either.. oh well.. don't want to talk to them anyway :p.. it won't be important.

Why does old wet mouldy plaster smell so revolting?

Ooh, "swift sale" vibes for Radish.:D

    In my HHC I:
    Cleaned the bedroom windows.
Polished the window sill (this entails moving a myriad of dragons).
Finished dusting and polishing the rest of the flat surfaces INCLUDING the tops of the wardrobes!!
Finished cleaning the pictures - there are 3 that require the step stool to get to, and they were filthy! (I don't have any mirrors in there, btw).
Changed and hand-washed the embroidered cloth from "my" space, that was covered in incense ash.
Fetched in the hankies that were on the washing line.

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
    Level One
    Declutter the floor!! Done
Strip bedding, wash and replace.. air the duvet while it is naked! Done (Saturday)
    Level Two
Tidy up a chest of drawers.. fling anything that is unloved.Done (Mr LW)
    Vacuum floors! Done (Mr LW)
Clear a box of stuff.. put it in its proper homes or get rid! No more boxes to go through; everything's been sorted recently. Tidied make-up instead; although all perfectly OK, it had got a tad jumbled.
    Level Three
Empty bins and do a mad 5 minutes filling the binbag! Done
Polish any mirrors or glass.. inc. dirty windows! Done
Wash any nets/curtains that are in need! Curtains done very recently; no nets.
    Extras

    1. 15 minutes filing/shredding Filing and shredding is all up to date
    2. Catch up with an old friend/relative you've not spoken to in a while Actually emailed an old friend at the weekend!
    3. Tidy up the linen cupboard.. throw away anything unused/past its best It's all still OK from last time. Just straightened the pile of tea cloths etc. a little.
    4. HH-something.. That'll be dusting the flat surfaces, then, as it's not elsewhere on the list. Done

So.... I can now ask for a Tuesday STAR please!:D
Going to have a spot of lunch now.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Lamewolf I love that poem.

Pigpen Does it really smell that bad. We found a leak from the bathroom to the kitchen at the weekend. Don't know how long it had been happening. Its made the top of the cupboard come apart and the ceiling is all stained. We tried painting over it but it's just come through:( We only had it replastered a year ago but it's looking like it has to come down:mad:

Off to do a HHI now if anyone wants to join me.

Have you go some of the stain block PTW? it paints on and you can paint over it.. it worked wonders on the horrific nicotine staining in my front room!

    DD3's bed stripped.. AGAIN..

Off to hang out washing, reload WM's and make a brew while OH is at shop.. buying rubble bags..
