I 'think' my dishwasher has finally packed up, (the last time it was mended the guy said it was possibly the last mend he could do on it, and is it 22 years old!)
So to anyone who has bought a DW recently:-
What type Miele
What would you recommend See above. Mine is a fairly basic model with five programmes, of which we only use one or two
Where from John Lewis - online via Quidco
Cost £379
and anything else that might be relevant Visit ukwhitegoods.co.uk and have a look around the forum. They are pretty good for advice on appliances too - they recommended either a Miele or a Bosch (we had to replace our WM 3 weeks after the DW so went for the Bosch for that). Our previous DW was a Zanussi, which lasted 2 years and in that time fried the PCB twice (a known problem) and finally the pump stopped working.
Thank you
(reserve DW is currently is use:- aka me!!)
I've not had a very good day flying-wise...DD still off school but looking much better. Have done most of my dailies though...plus some shredding and filing, and organising of paperwork into a brought forward system...
I had an emergency appointment at the dentist today to have my crown replaced, came home, decided to have a sandwich, and promptly broke a tooth on the other side of my mouth...blasted Granary bread (I knew it wasn't good for you). Guess where I'm going tomorrow? And...my Maternity Exemption expired a month ago... (Good job I'm on the NHS....)
Right, I'm off to go and feel sorry for myself...
Take care all and hugs to anyone who needs one...

Been quoted £235 for the cam belt, fan belt + vat + labour on the car to get changed, robbing so and so's. Guess what the sale of the old car doesn't even cover it
That's annoying, but if it's any help I had my cam belt done last year, was £241 inc VAT and labour.
Erm...desparately thinking of something flying....erm...right, just off to get the lovely dry washing in and make DDs bed...
