    Hiya

Froddy - I now have an acorn on my foot, and a celtic triangle with a circle interwoven (sign of everlasting life and unity) on my ankle :D

Toots - Thanks, expect a message shortly :o But so I get to boast on here, the walk went well, we did 13.2 miles (chickened out of the full marathon 26 miles), my legs are slowly recovering :j

Can I have a Wednesday kitchen Star please?

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine if you have it!
    Love and hugs

So to anyone who has bought a DW recently:-
    What type.. BOSCH!!!!!!!!
What would you recommend.. see above! Mine is an exxcel one.. has 26 minute quick wash and 18 minute rinse as well as intensive washes.. and I only manaed to block it twice in 5 years!
Where from .. erm.. I'll have to check .. and don't forget quidco!!
Cost .. what is the budget? Mine is infinite when it comes to the DW.. my favourite appliance!
and anything else that might be relevant..

I'll be back with my 'favourite' shopping places in a sec.

Co-op Electrical Shop 2% .. Cheapest place for DS1's washing machine

Appliances direct were good too and electrical discount uk.. also both on quidco.. shop around see what you find.

I've also had decent experience with Tribal.co.uk .. I did get cashback on this one too but it was 4 years ago and I cannot remember where through.. maybe greasypalm.

Recluttered my house with 2 small pink creatures.. DS3 has detention and DD3 is at after school club.

H all, been busy all day,
the kitchen got to me, so had to run and have / needed to have lunch with a friend.
So came back and cracked back on with it.
I ended up throwing the electric grill out, so need to buy another one now.Its not essential but they are brilliant, especially for getting rid of fat etc.

Thanks Pigpen and wssla you've given me something to think of if changing the thread doesn't work. I've put the washing out and Wm x 1. We've been out in the garden and i've sanded and painted 1 side of the shelf and brackets and the toilet roll holder and sanded and primed the towel holder. I'm starting to notice progress now the towel stand is finished, mind you i've still got 2 cabinets and a rocking chair to do. We've just been to pick up the boys and Ds2 wants to go back in the garden now.

Well DD2 has got off lightly considering she fell yesterday morning before nursery and grazed her knee, fell at gymnastics this morning off some apparatus and bashed her stomach on a metal bar, hurt her finger with a cat's toy at my friends house and managed to fall down her stairs minutes later. Poor little thing has inherited my accident prone gene I think!

DD1's got a friend home for tea from school so they're having a play upstairs. I've given them all 10 minutes upstairs then I'm getting DD2 and trying to distract her a bit so DD1 can play with her friend for a bit.

Well done on your walk Carol...where did you do that? You'll have to do the Manchester Midnight Walk...it's supposed to be quite good. A few friends of mine are doing that but I've decided to give it a miss as I'm doing the Manchester 10K and the Great North Run too. I think that's quite enough for now!

Best find a list....not much flying has been done...apart from the 3 loads of washing I hung out this morning...and the HHE I did at 6.30am. I've also made yummy celery soup but the kitchen is in need of a bit of a tidy now.

Back with a list in a mo.

Hmmmm...not much to cross off. Think I'd better do a quick whizz round while the girls are all playing nicely. Can't guarantee a HHC but I'll do what I can.

Pigpen~~ I don't have a budget in mind yet over the DW, as I haven't bought one for over 23 years, this house came with the one I think has died.........just booked my local sparky to come and look at it, to be told by his wife he is stuch is auzzie land, and may be back by next weekend if he is lucky!!

So if I buy one at £400 and it last the next 20 years, that is £20 per year,!! bargin or what
