Beautifully warm and sunny here

Not much planned for the rest of the day DH is decorating so I am keeping out of the way

Washed all my nets and got them on the line to dry plus the front room curtains

My peas, beans, peppers , courgettes, lettuce etc have all germinated well and I will probably be able to thin them out next week:D

I have put them out in their trays in the garden to sun themselves.

Really happy my Blackbird couple are back and nesting .........I have just got to keep the blasted neighbours cats out of the garden:mad: water pistol is locked and loaded.

redruby glad to meet another whovian:T - what did you think of the new daleks? my first thought was go go power rangers! I much prefer the old style ones.
New doctor is growing on me but miss David Tennant :drool:

My thoughts are with you Ladygrim.

Had a good day so far - took DD to work so that I could get the car and had a quick trip to Asda for fresh food. Have made cous-cous for some lunches this week, veg pies with cheese sauce for tea (hope they are ok, didn't like the look of the Veggie ones in supermarket so decided to make my own). Will let you know how they go down. Got lots left so will put the remains in the freezer for another day.

Also made twinks hobnobs, this is the first time I have tried them and they are delish! Don't know if they will last the week though!!

Have had two weeks off as I work in a school, so back to the grind tomorrow. Once I get there I will be ok but have got used to pottering about on my own.
