The only time you spot a numptie is when you walk past a mirror and catch the reflection of quite arguably the biggest numpty on the planet....

And if you think your some sort of comedian, go to your local comedy club....i'm sure they'll be looking cleaners and toilet attendants!

    Hi everyone!

I would be very appreciative if someone could give me some guidance.

On Thursday I bought something with Tesco Direct and it arrived this morning. When I ordered it it was priced at £29.00.

I checked the website this morning and the very same item is now £14.00 - a saving of £15.

I still have my item sealed and unopened along with my delivery docket. Question is: Am i within my right to phone and ask them to refund the difference?

I know I am entitled to take the goods back to a tesco store and receive a full refund and in the mean time re-order the goods but to be honest, that seems more hassel than a simple phone call!

I know people here will say you were happy to pay £29 at the time so whats the big deal etc...but at the end of the day, £15 is a substantial drop in price and this is MSE afterall....

Thanks for all your help everyone!

You can ask but the answer will be no.

However Tesco do have a 28 day refund policy meaning you can return the goods (provided they are unopened) for a full refund, no questions asked, then buy it again at the lower price.

Sorry you think this is hassle but most retailers would not even let you do this if there was nothing wrong with what you bought. Prices go down all the time, someone is always going to get a bum deal if they bought before the price went down. That's life I'm afraid.
