Query regarding Tesco direct

Thanks for the reply. I know there is no automatic right and your absolutely right when you say if you dont ask you dont get....I was merely asking a question in the hope other people in similiar circumstances could shed some light!
Ultimately some places like richer sounds have a policy whereby if you see the item cheaper within 30 days, they'll refund the difference. I was just wondering if tesco did something similiar.0 -
What on earth are you on about?!
If the OP was happy paying the initial price and they hadnt noticed the decrease in price, then there would be no issue!
At the end of the day, Tesco have done nothing wrong. You ordered, they sent.
This forum is meant for people who have been genuinely ripped off, not for people who have noticed that a price has changed, all thats happened is Tesco have rearranged their catalogues a little and changed some prices.
And all this "power to the consumer" nonsense....... I, like many others, will continue to shop at Tescos regardless of people like you.... they have good all round prices, they are local, convenient and also offer clubcard points which pay for a weekly shop every 3 months!
Just ignore the troll, hopefully he'll get banned soon0 -

The 'troll' has been a member of MSE since 2004, and as well as bringing humour to a thread also offers excellent advice. I doubt very much that he will be banned at any time soon!Gone ... or have I?0 -

Looking through his recent posts, I couldn't see any that weren't variations on "What a disgrace, call trading standards/the police/the government and have all the employees thrown in prison". I really don't see how that helps anyone.0 -
true...Richer Sounds are absolutely superb! Really friendly staff and very helpful!
And thanks for your reply....a friendly poster without trying to preach and lecture!
Just so  with the many, many judgemental people on here. Whether its this board or competitions or grabbit, the cynicism is wild!0 -

I actually wanted to be called Fred Bo11ocks, but thought against it, I now wish to come clean, I only talk Bull when the OP has wasted the first 16 formative years of their lives by not gaining the common sense to be able to get what they want. I suppose when you have been 'Freddie'd', I should send you a medal!
They are now available at my shop, at varying prices depending on your gullibility. They start at £50, and the price is dependent on your numptie level.0 -
It's people like you that put people off asking for help/guidance/support and to share stories and information with people who've been in/are in similiar positions.
You're just plain rude and are a disgrace to the many good posters on here!!
"OP has wasted the first 16 formative years of their lives by not gaining the common sense to be able to get what they want" - I do not appreciate slander and I most certainly do not appreciate it from someone as uninformed and quite frankly as dumb as you.
And as for assuming i'm 16...what are you basing that on, your IQ?
I actually feel sorry for you.0 -

Your point is what exactly?
Perchance the fact I can spot in one post a numptie.

See if the OP on this thread took my first advice and then bullied everyone in the same, then disappeared into the oblivion. He even had the heart to pm me as well. OP never came back because!!!!
To paraphraseFreddie_Snowbits wrote:stand4truth wrote:I have taken exeption to your statements regarding my integrity and request you see the replies. I had stated it had been some time since buying a computer and then office was fully installed and others have also stated they had in past too. As a consumer I did not know it was now normal to only be given a trial. this being said Sainsburys have agreed they HAD misinformed my wife at point of sale and have put right the situation. this all being said I do not feel I should have the need to defend our good name to someone like yourself. maybe if you turned the negative energy that you display into helping others rather than shooting them down you would feel a better person. My Lord and Savior is the only person that I and indeed all of us have to answer to. That is why I chose the name I did on here as MY WORD IS MY BOND SO HELP ME GOD.
I prey that you are well and stay that way and that maybe you could be of help to others more in the future

Thank you for message.
If you feel you have to take my comment further, you would like to explain why you explain why you ignored my first response on the subject, where I suggested that Open Office was more that an adequate substitute?
As for defending your good name, as you suggest, there are two ways, either you could be as I suggested in an earlier comment, a 'Playground Bully' and go behind the bike shed. Or more than likely, explain where you got your fully free copies of MS Office. As such, I think the first response would be futile, the second is of course incredulous, as I believe it is not true.
Therefore, seeing as God has not yet affected your conscience, I remind that you read the part where Jesus states he would rather sleep with his enemies, and suggested
‘You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". But I say to you, do not resist an evildoer. If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also’ Mathew 5 38:39
Alas, as Jesus wanted, if we are wronged, we would go out and ‘do the right thing’ Jesus explained that he would, ‘turn the other cheek’’ One should not be bothered about keeping score on this subject, but suffice to understand each others position, even if it is so different to their own. Because one may be afraid that the persons you through stones at may not be different to themselves.
God bless.
Freddie
