:eek:I read that as !!!!!! Shoes!:rotfl:Was thinking about what kind of mother you are, sistercas! Oo-er.:o

Was meant to have taught Coco a trick, but she's too [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE]stubborn to do anything, depite me lifting her leg and yelling "Paw, Paw, Paw!!!!" at her. Hmm, wonder where I'm going wrong?

:rotfl: @ Jackie and her filthy mind ;)

As for Coco stupid question but did you show her to lift her paw and then give her a reward?

Bitsy, have you tried the different flavours? I used to drink it with lemon, but have progressed to green tea with cranberry now :p

Not so keen on lemon and the like - as long as it's sweetened I don't mind it so much. I suppose though I should use honey rather than sugar though :o

    Nicola - welcome :j

Been a very productive morning. Kids had loads of fun out in the garden and my parents got a chance to see them all together which was nice. Made my chocolate buns which went down a treat after lunch.
Pricked out some chili peppers, leeks and some very sorry looking cauliflowers that I'd germinated. I suspect I am going to have to buy some more caulis this year - I struggled to germinate them last year and so far it's not been terribly successful either.
Sowed my courgettes, sweet peppers, broccoli and I am attempting to germinate some perennial sweet peas that already exist in the garden. My mum has warned me they probably won't germinate but if I don't try I won't know  Lolla rosa lettuce is growing well so hopefully soon I'll have my own salad leaves :D

Its such a fantastic day here, completely clear blue sky, makes me want to be on holiday by the sea. Feeling quite chipper :D
Hope the ash isn't causing you lot any problems.

Right need to go and clear up the mess that is my house and garden. I do love having the kids over to play but they leave a trail of devastion in their wake ;)

Hugs to Diva and penny pincher and fingers crossed for JC's son next week.

After a sudden flurry of house viewers (eight in three weeks) - we have had a reasonable offer for our house , which we have accepted.:j:j:j

They have a buyer for their house and no chain to worry about but want to move in as quickly as possible (talking about May!)

DD(21) passed her driving test this week so is delighted :j

She goes back to university tomorrow :( and her sister's school term starts on Monday so house will be much quieter next week.

Treating ourselves to Indian meal at home tonight and youngest wants scampi and chips so that's what she is getting. DHs is clearing out the shed and getting a bit panicky at the speed things are happening.

Have been scouring rightmove for rental property for the five of us and not much in our town but there might be one coming up in the next few weeks- fingers crossed.

Hugs to everyone that could do with one and nice to be back.

    evening all!

not caught up with the thread yet. Been at work all day and just sitting down for the first time. Was a nice day at work - we took 2 service users to Hereford for the day and went to the theatre where there is live music in the cafe-bar at the weekends, was very pleasant sitting listening to the pianist over a drink. later we went for a picnic in the sunshine - a great day and I was getting paid too!:j:T
tonight DH and I are having a curry(balti for DH, quorn for me) and watching BGT followed by a dvd.
    house tidy and clean.
DH has taken the old wardrobe and cupboard to bits in the spare room and removed them so theres lots more room for me to decorate in.

not much else to report, back later when I've caught up x

Have had the grandchildren for most of the day, so we're worn out now.
DGD was so funny, she was given a bag of clothes by a very kind MSE'r & in the bag was a pair of crocs, well she is totally besotted with these crocs & has been wearing them to bed, when she can't actually wear them she carries them around with her.
Also managed to get about 6 loads of washing done as DS bought his round & got most of it dry on the line.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Evening all,

Managed to wash and dry 3 machine loads today...have been very lazy lately...another lovely day.

Sorry to hear that PP is so low....if anyone has contact pass on my best wishes please.

Diva....hope that you are recovering, look forward to seeing you back in action soon.

JC....hugs for you and DS for next week.

Had stirfried chicken with lots of veg for dinner....sprouting broccoli, onion, garlic, ginger, chilli, lemongrass, bok choi and ground elder....I pick and eat as much as I can of the patch we have every year when it is tender, so maybe you can do that Ruby....I either use it in salad or cook like spinach, quite nice really, no idea how to get rid of it permanently as it is in a bed that has lots of perennials in it so can't use salt or weedkiller, cutting it back every year doesn't seem to do the trick either.

Booked 10 days in Sardinia this evening (June) for OH and I and a friend of mine, she has come with us before and we got on ok. My nephews had bought me a voucher for Christmas using 'Marie' which is the name I use, but my 'official' name is Anne Marie, so wouldn't accept the voucher, have no ID calling myself Marie so not sure if I can do anything about it....p***ed off but rules are rules and must be adhered to....will contact Ryanair during the week to see if I can change name but know the answer before I check!

Spoke to DS1 this evening, he is not sure if he can get to Amsterdam as normal on Monday, nothing is flying east as far as I can see.

Hugs to all in need or want, have a good weekend all

    Marie
