JC - I was only thinking about you and your son the other day. I admire your courage - I would be a gibbering wreck - but then Im a gibbering wreck most of the time anyway! I hope it goes well for you and yours and will be thinking about you xx
I have slept very badly and my anxiety has sky-rocketed as a result so in a pretty sorry state this morning. Still put a wash on and cleared kitchen to take my mind off stuff. Therefore minimal OS for me I think. It is a lovely day today and doggies have been out and walked. They are tired this morning as I was up for the majority of the night and they sat up with me - so loyal. Im hoping to get some sweet peas potted up and get out for a scoot later with the doggies. Have a lovely Saturday xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Jc - hope your son gets on okay next week, I'll keep my finger's crossed.

JC I'll be thinking of you & DS next week. I can't believe that it's still going ahead either  Lots of hugs xxx
Molly41 Hope your anxiety settles as the morning passes it's an awful feeling xxx
Julie67 My elder DS hasn't learnt about hangovers yet. He was out on Thurs night at an 18th and didn't surface until 12 yesterday. He didn't eat anything until 4pm so I knew it was bad :rotfl: Personally I can't wait for his 1st hangover when he's in the Army - a Corporal shouting at him to get up should clear his head:D

Need to pop into town this morning as DD1 has seen some prom shoes she wants to look at
:eek:I read that as !!!!!! Shoes!:rotfl:Was thinking about what kind of mother you are, sistercas! Oo-er.:o
Good Morning.
OH and DS2 off too footie, DS1 in the shower washing his locks, and we're off to Dog Borstal at 11. Can't go Monday because of PTA duties. Was meant to have taught Coco a trick, but she's too [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE]stubborn to do anything, depite me lifting her leg and yelling "Paw, Paw, Paw!!!!" at her. Hmm, wonder where I'm going wrong?
Dunno what will happen the rest of the day. OH has still to finish out back, it was a bit of a nightmare for him getting the washing poles out yesterday, I did feel sorry for him. I have my seeds to pot up. The Sweet Peas got chucked in the ground yesterday, my good deed for the day was to plant 60 Iris bulbs in my elderly neighbours garden, which should come up a treat. I love Irises. Somehow I had about 200 bulbs, but only have 10 left! She gave me a box of Tunnocks Teacakes in exchange, which we had for dessert last night!
Sorry to hear about your friend, Taplady, his poor family. My OH's friend lost his father the other day, which OH hasn't taken very well as it's coming up to the 4th anniversary of losing his dad.
Thanks for the news of PenPin, Donnygal, sorry to hear she's doing so pororly, send our love, won't you?
Thank you so much for the image of BargainBird as a Hell's Angel stroppy, that made me chuckle. I had been thinking of Biggles after reading yesterday's thread, but the Hell's Angel thing!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning Peeps
lovely and sunny here today :j i`ve just been in the garden and had a potter around in the greenhouse. I shall check the weather forecast later as i`m dying to get some things planted outside but its still been very cold at night. I`ve picked two big handfuls of the purple sprouting broccolli this morning. I`ve left it until the last minute but was a bit worried that it would start to flower.
Houndies are fast asleep, its a little bit too warm already for little oldie who struggled a bit so he had a lie down in the grass in the park to recover, he had lots of extra treats from the regular walkers so that cheered him up a lot. He is such a sociable little thing and really enjoys seeing everyone.
Just made a batch of chilli so DH will be having some of that for tea later with jacket spuddies, i have two huge chicken drumsticks which i got whoopsied in M&S last night along with the last of the herb salad.
I`ve finally got to the end of the receipt mountain herei can now begin the CC receipt mountain and hopefully by next week i shall have the books balanced. :j
I`m off for a lovely hot shower and then i have to finish the shopping list off as DH is doing the grocery run tonight and then i`m off to w*rk.
JC - Good luck for your DS2
Diva - Hope that you are feeling better - thinking of you.

... I need some ideas for cheap diy wedding favors! It does seem strange as we have only just got the photos from ds's wedding and now we are planning dd's wedding!
How about organza circles, that tie into a pouch-thing with the traditional 5 sugared almonds inside? They mean wealth, health, fidelity, fertility and long life. The circles are on ebay, all different colours & fairly cheap too, doing those for my 40 guests will cost me less than £20, and Julian Graves do Gf/WF sugared almonds;)Bitsy_Beans wrote: »So does having 2 sugars in green tea negate any health benefits? :rotfl:
Trying to drink more of the stuff but can't tolerate it unless it's sweet)
Bitsy, have you tried the different flavours? I used to drink it with lemon, but have progressed to green tea with cranberry now
OH is now sat in a bar in Brussels, 10mins walk from Eurostar station, eating mussels chips & mayo and drinking Belgian beer, watching the Manchester derby! He'll be back up here 11pm ish, so home by midnight, only 36 hours late!0 -
