Hi everyone,
My situation is that i'm looking for a cheap internet provider with standard dial up. I am looking for something that covers between 7am and 9pm ideally mon through to sunday. I'm on BT not a cable area.
I'm on tesco at the moment and it is just up until 4pm which is no good only £5.99 or something a month though.
I'm considering v21 for £9.99 per month anytime for 42hrs per week anytime.
Anyone know anyone better i have heard of fish for net or fast for net or something that does £6.99 per month unlimited but cant remember exactly how to find them???
Anyway over to you, please help??????

The company you want is : https://www.fast4.net
It is £6.99 per month and somewhere there is a thread called FAST4 CONNECTION DIARY 2. I have been a user for a long time and most of the time it is excellent, but occasionally they have a glitch, but then AOL seem to all of the time judging by the complaints. Also in the evening they get busy (obviously) and it is sometimes hard to get connected, but the past few days no propbs at all. Anyway it is easy to give them a try as there is no long term contract, just 1 month at a time."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

Don't NTL do a package which gives you Internet & phone calls for £15 per month ? I think you need a BT line to use Fast4 but I should check with them.
ALARED Are you back with us on Fast4 ???"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

So is fast4 168 hours per week!
I joined them on the 27th january and today they have cut me cos of using 66 hours in one week! i cant phone them cos there not open weekends apparently. Why do they cut me off after a week when they have no idea on my internet usage.

what do you mean by cut-off? have you had a mail from fast4 saying this?
or is it someother reason why u can not connect?0 -
Actually i did have an email before i phoned them up (techical support) it says below that i left my internet connection idle! yea for the first time today, while i went downstairs to eat my dinner and it was downloading something! is it because i leave some browsers open and just refresh every now and again, i dont know! but the guy on the phone kept going on about me using too much 66 hours in 1 week! i dont get it.
