    Thanks will forward that on.
I think they have just put mine in the que tbh as theyve not turned me down point blank.
I have a feeling I know where my original book was so will have a dig over the weekend. :)

    Hi there

I can recall it did state this of 6 months on the LLoyds policy, it may differ with other banks, but from what I can recall, I do think its 6 months.

Yes, tell them you feel they have overlooked and don't feel they have fully investigated your complaint and will appreciate your case being relooked at, it has been done and also request they let you know by 14 days.

I would do what I did, email them its quicker and ask them to pass this on the the insurance complaints team who originally dealt with your complaint.

You have to give them the ref policy number as well, good luck.;)

Recieved the rest of the SAR, a 12 inch pile of a4, really something to see and it just seems they sent me some more ammo to bomb them with in the way of the original applications, agreements and meeting notes etc.
Included was all 4 applications, 2 of the 4 had ppi - yes/no = no and there were only 2 signed ppi acceptance forms and in the notes for the final meeting they had sold me a loan with ppi, future job prospects = "going full time with internet business shortly", I had told him 3 months.
Under recomendations - "made appointment to see business manager next week to open business account".

Only error in my letter was I think I refered to him as her.
Ah well shouldnt be to much of an issue, the important bits were about right.

    :D

Right some more ammo recieved with the rest of the SAR. Will keep adding to the thread so people maybe know what they might expect to recieve.
Probably shows why an SAR can be a good idea.

Loan 1 application(without ppi), agreement, statement (no rebate)

Loan 2 application(without ppi), agreement, statement.

Loan 3 application, agreement, statement and ppi acceptance(note not ticked to say t&c recieved)

Loan 4 application, agreement, statement and ppi acceptance

Notes from there own review completed on the same day as the final loan. Note the bit about sick pay, I was unsure but thought this was correct. But I doubt they should of starte the ppi till I had checked.
Also note the bit about ebay trading and the fact he booked me in with a business advisor a week later where the business account was opened then 12 weeks later went full time.
Date started job, notice he didnt put the date just the year, I had only been in the job 4 1/2 months which I think voided the insurance as i'd not been in continuous employment for 6 months previous.

Good one for posting these up.:T

If you have ever made a claim for example sickness and/or unemployment you can still make a reclaim, because the policy may have still been mis sold to you for some reason and you may not be able to make a successful claim on all, for example a pre-existing back condition, where you can make a claim successfully on a new condition after the loan was taken out.

In this case what they do is reduce what is owed on a reclaim.;)

I did actually look at claiming in 05and they sent out the forms for me to complete but I decided against it as by this time I was self employed and was scraping by + the paperwork was real hard work.

I now know it would not of paid out anyway and I was paying duff cover.
Sickening though that they clearly know what they are doing when selling. I imagine the salesperson gets a nice bonus for selling 1 of these policies.

I wanna know what happened with the rebate from the first loan, makes you wonder if there are any sneaky transfers. :)

I see, well in that case then it should all be straight forward - hopefully lol :D;).

I have had a few loans from LLoyds and some with a rebate and others not, this have baffled me too, due to this I am actually awaiting a response from LLoyds about this, if and when I hear I shall let you know.:);)

    Too right, keep it updated

1 thing I do remember though was that the doc at the hospital refused to sign any insurance documents :rotfl:

just a note on the subject of rebates for PPI, on my Lloyds loans the rebate was paid directly into my bank account after i settled the loan in full. so on my loan statements from the SAR they do not show the rebate, but this then shows as a credit on my bank account statement about 2 weeks later.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free
