i've just stumbled across alpharooms too
the place i was looking gran canaria, cordial mogan comes up alot cheaper than else where.
the bad things i've heard is arriving at destination and no transfer service, arriving at hotel and payment not made so no room etc.

Used them a few times with no probs. I always check hotels on trip advisor as a belt and braces procedure but have had no problems.0

            Thanks
The hotel we are looking at gran canaria cordialmogan comes up good on trip advisor and we've been there before.
I guess what I'm held back on at the moment is what,
 - airline they use
 - I assume no travel reps so concerned on actual hotel transfers0

Cheapest way is to book your own flights, try skyscanner and book your own transfers.0

I used them last April for accomodation in Lanzarote (hotel only). Everything was OK.
I even received an email from them informing about full refund in case of flight cancellation due to volcanic ash (flight was booked separately directly from the airline). I'll use them again for suremortgage started 31st May 2011 -£59200

One year I was going to use them but then found that booking direct with the hotel chain (Melia Sol) was easy. They will definitely have a place in Gran Canaria.
What I like about them is that they don't want any money until you leave and if you can't go after booking they charge for just one day.0
