alpharooms.com

I'm planning a trip away soon, and just found alpharooms.com, which has hotels much much cheaper than everywhere else I've looked, but I'm a bit worried it might be too good to be true. I've done a quick search on here, and found both good and bad comments, so I was wondering if anyone has used them recently and whether they've had any problems?

  • no problems, Stayed in a small hotel in Berlin with them. mind you, I wouldnt rule anything out, since my trip went very smoothly, and was nothing special.

Thanks, that's quite reassuring. Can I ask how recently you used them?
  • I used alpharooms to book a hotel in Glasgow in March 2009. They were quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else for that particular hotel (and going by forums, they are consistently cheaper, it wasn't a fluke on that particular date). Had no problems with the booking and had a great stay at the hotel.

  • I used them a couple of years ago (I think), they weren't particularly communicative but there were no problems.

Have used them quite a few times, no real problems, last time accommodation voucher didn't arrive in my in box, so about a week before travel phoned them and it was emailed immediately. I have 2 further trips booked with them. Also go through Quidco for cash back.

Booked with them many times before. I check many accomodation sites when booking independantly and they usually come out the cheapest and never had no problems so far.
