It’s been a full weekend again, sundays we have dds boyfriend’s dd as well and now she is coming daily to focus on her school work as her own home is full of younger siblings. She will be working in the dining area, so we really will be bursting at the seams 😱 she’s no trouble though and is old enough to work independently, just need to get more vegan food in!
I have been very naughty and ordered some bits from monsoon sale, there are two coats I liked after Xmas one £165 reduced to £39, went to order and he price went up to £99 ☹️ As they are reduced again I’ve ordered lots in various sizes as it free returns, I shan’t keep both but also got a few summer dresses at massive discounts if I can squeeze into them, no idea how monsoon come up and had to get small sizes for some, probably won’t go near me so mse really 😆
More spending also done on some of what I would call fancy shampoo and conditioner, my home bleaching may be overlapping a bit much and my hair has just stated breaking a bit 😱 I’ve done lots of reading online as to what to do - less washing, no heat, sulphite free shampoo. Etc. this has to work as I’m not going back to the hairdressers for colour as it’s way to expensive, and I’m not ready to give up the blonde just yet 😬 Anyway wasted twenty minutes of my life comparing he price of the shampoo which was £6.99 and got it online for £5.70, along with some conditioner and a mask.

I'd say you invested 20 minutes of your life on it. It would only have been a waste if you ended up paying the same amount (or if you could have spent those 20 minutes earning more than you saved). You found a saving and now you know where the cheapest price is for next time. Could turn out to be time well spent 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

😆 That’s a generous way of looking at it Sc!Quick trip to b@@ts with dd first thing, it’s a huge branch and there was one other customer in there, bought a few large bottles of hand wash for 50p a bottle, plus more posh conditioner. It’s my birthday tomorrow and I’ve planned my own day 😬 first thing I’m meeting best friend for a walk and a takeaway coffee, then home for a lunchtime deal domin@es for the six of us at home during the day along with few films in the afternoon, I doubt it could get more exciting than that 😁MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2

Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone 😊
I had a lovely day, the girls decorated half the house with banners, balloons etc. It was like a festival! then dh put the r@ng doorbell in the living room to talk to me through when I got up 😆 then he came home from work at 9am as he had gone in early for a few hours and taken the rest of the day off. We all had an afternoon tea which he had ordered, very nice and a a few kind friends dropped off cards and presents on the doorstep 😬
Today I’ll be tidying up from yesterday and eating birthday cake, I got a caterpillar one from the kids and mum and dad had a chocolate cake delivered form Bettys, it’s a lot of cake to get though and I still have scones left, will need lots of help with it 🧁😁
I shall also be updating the mfw challenge and doing a monthly round up later, it is a mfw diary after all 😬MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6 -
