Awww so sorry to hear about your kitty, Really hope that a night at the vets with the drip will perk her back up and get her back home to you sooner.
I agree with MadVix- definitely worth getting legal/ ACAS advice if able to, just so you are armed with any support/counters.
I do hope both situations improve for you guys.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Thanks everyone, the injury to dhs hand was because he was outside his work and spotted a delivery for he next door neighbours and helped, so he shouldn’t have been there 🤦🏼♀️ As for his job, we have no idea if they plan on carrying it through or will let things just tick over as they are now with him on a lower wage (the same as the assistant manager), time will tell!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5

Oh, I hadn't realised that it wasn't actually a work incident with DH's hand. Let's hope the company has some compassion/realism regarding their expectations of growth at the moment.
Hope hand and cat are doing better xMortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks Vix and debt free. The cat is doing ok now, I collected her last night and she is still rough but doing ok and getting looked after well by everyone. As for work I’ve no idea, things seem to usually come as a bolt out the blue twitch them as they are very hands off.Just looked at the accounts and all is just about ok after a £360 vet bill which has been paid from my personal spending pot and the car saving fund, both of which are not as important as the cat 😆
The car saving pot is probably going to be a give the kids some money towards driving lessons this year pot anyway and I may well sell the beetle too I’ve not decided yet, it’s costing about £50pm so I’m undecided if it’s worth it or not.🤔 she is very fun to drive with the roof down though!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -
Time to get myself sorted as I’ve fallen back down the lockdown hole again, like first time round it’s no exercise, getting up late, getting lazy and combined with the after Xmas eating junk irregularly it’s not good 🙄 so as of today:
- exercise once a day outside
- Eat three meals a day - not one and lots of snacks!
- At least one phone call a day to relatives/friends
- More research on starting selling business
That’s it for now, back later with a new financial challenge 😁

Sounds like a good plan to dust yourself down and set goals for each day- I’m doing similar to shake me out of my funk and so far its helping. ‘Every day is a new chance’ and all that
Glad kitty is doing okay following the vets stay- how is she today?First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Hi KK, hope you are well, the cat is ok but very wobbly still, although she had a small tin of cat pate this morning which is the most she’s had in a while 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4
