Thank you everyone for the kind wishes, he’s going back today. He is going to work but says is he is in the office so taking it easy (hopefully he is!).

I did another another shop at l@dl yesterday and spent lots again, got vast amounts of food and used a second £10 off newspaper voucher and have also earned £10 off in December on the app , financially it’s going ok, although I don’t enjoy shopping there as much. I went when it opened so it was quiet and they opened a new till and I went to unload and some guy started shouting at me that I jumped the queue. I honestly didn’t know he was waiting and apologised and said obviously go ahead of me, he was the only one there so I didn’t miss a long line I just thought he was shopping, he then said no and carried on having a go, I couldn’t get out quick enough!
It was still worth it though as I stocked up on Xmas week veg, the potatoes are no good for roast potatoes for Xmas day as they are tiny but were good in a winter veg tray bake last night, many veg are 15p now, so it’s potatoes, sprouts and carrots all week now 😆

Today I’m doing the Xmas cards and wrapping the last few bits up, will attempt to make a fish pie with reduced random fish I bought and froze yesterday.

Hi jessy, we didn’t watch one in the end they played video games! Have made up for it yesterday with dd and ds2’s girlfriend watching ratatouille and ratburger whilst doing our own Xmas nails 😁

I think I’ve done my Xmas food shop now, I thought I’d pop to tesc@ first thing yesterday to get stuff that won’t go off, I expected it to be pretty quiet that early and pouring with rain - not at all 😱 so I did a supermarket sweep style shop, throwing in fresh stuff too as I don’t want to have to go again! Spent more than I should and still have the M&S collection Xmas eve, I will work out the overspend later today, I did buy extra cupboard stuff yesterday as there are so many of us and I don’t want to go out for a bit, we are in a London borough so rife with the virus is been in the headlines a lot recently.

I have a £10 Lidl coupon to use over a £10 spend in the next three days, I can drive to one in ten minutes and it will kill me to waste it but it seems silly going out when it’s really busy when I don’t need to. Ds2 has been unexpectedly told he is done with work before Xmas now, still don’t know of hey will keep him on in the new year, so it’s only dh leaving the house now, everyone else is either working from home or done for Xmas.
