Oh my, NG. I was gearing up to say your kids and their partners are all perfectly capable of getting their own meals rather than you trying to juggle multiple diets, then I saw your news about your great Aunt and Uncle 🙁 I do hope she's able to get the help she needs x

Thanks Sc and MFd’s , I’ve had a couple of phone calls from Great Aunt already, she seems ok considering but is still telling my mum she has the same intentions ☹️What a miserable week so far, even the weather has been relentless! I’ve just been asked to go to the drs surgery tomorrow as the online paid GP contacted them (even though they said it was probably not worrying) and now I have to go in to be checked, now I’m worried as they don’t do that lightly at the moment. Still I’ve been kept busy by doing work for dh at home this week again and hat also stops me spending money so it’s a win win!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4

Thank you Vix, greent and Cornish mum 🙂 thankfully all is fine and she had a free slot so thought it better to look in person, yet another minor thing that’s probably exacerbated by stress. Anyway I’ve celebrated by joining dh on his day off for a B&Q trip where I let him buy me a string of fairy lights to go around the gazebo and a white poinsettia, followed by a bath and pyjamas at 3pm and the opening of a box of Xmas celebrations, some days you just need to treat yourself! One of the guys from work is popping in (garden) on the way home to collect his car dh borrowed so will have a quick coffee and catch up, he is aware of my early PJ habit so I can continue to be a slob 😆
Lots to sort out this weekend as well as some relaxing with chocolate and some Halloween films, I was most disappointed to see that the new witches film is £16 to rent in the sky store, I may have even still considered it as dd and her household could watch it on our sky go , but apparently it’s only available on one device at a time if you rent, we will watch it next year I guess!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5 -

Glad to hear that you don't have any health issues. But I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle and your aunt.
Love that you're starting the christmas festivities, love a good christmas blanket snuggle.5
