  • No need to apologise for Aldi cheese - they do a go range especially in their special selection or whatever it is. I could quite happily have n Aldi or Lidl cheese night :D

I’ve had a lot of Aldi Brie lately hazelnutty so I do agree :D

Good night out, ds2 and one other apart from me were not drinking, everybody else was pretty drunk, making the most of it being on expenses  I did order a few posh glass bottles of water as I wanted the bottles to refill for the table for Xmas day. Way too much food left over so we brought it home.

Everyone’s off to borough market tomorrow for the big cheese shop- dh can buy what he wants for himself but I think I’ll let dad and brother go silly with it, apparently they are buying to bring Xmas day then taking it all home again.

I’m itching to set some financial goals but have not had time to catch breath lately, hopefully there’s will be plenty of time once it’s all over. Shiny new diary is at the ready :)

In bed nice and early tonight, had a phone call at 1am from the boys as they had both forgotten their keys, couldn’t sleep for a few hours after that stressing over how much I have to do!

Not doing too badly I guess, still much to do tomorrow though

Fresh food bought last night and food collection is tomorrow , I’m quite glad I have not been adding up how much I have spent

Thanks greent and a merry Christmas to you :xmastree:

It’s festive here now, table all set (tartan and gold :D) and lots of the food prepped or cooked. We have had an unexpectedly full household to work around today, the boys had half a dozen or so friends over for drinks before the pub. Plus a friend and her ds came over to drop off presents and stayed a few hours!

The snacks, beer and cider have taken a hammering today by the boys. Now though I’m settled down with dh, Dd and boyfriend watching tv after a pizza and wearing matching xmas pj’s - well Dd and I , it would be a stretch too far for the men :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas xxx

Well that’s done and dusted for another year! Christmas Day went very smoothly, only minor irritations from my family :o followed by lunch at the inlaws yesterday - ditto the irritations :rotfl:

I’ve had a day of sitting around today, looking at sales but not buying :A

Lots of thoughts about the year ahead today, I need to formulate a full plan. :D
