WEALTH- Due to our family challenge of watching 31 horror films during October for Halloween, I was forced to renew the now tv, ds2 set up a new account so we got four months for £21.98 instead of £9.99 pm, we can do the same at Xmas :xmastree:

Not so well actually vix
TUESDAYS/WEDNESDAY UPDATE:
HEALTH - accidentally drank some (i.e. quite a bit) of red wine while out with the girls for curry nightbye bye completing sober October on day three! Other than that WW is going well.....
WEALTH- £695 has been sent over to our personal account from our old business account, I may be able to keep it :T it will go to ops
ORGANISATION- not much except packing healthy snacks and lunch for work
FUN- last nights curry with the girls and a day out with best friend today
The weather has really turned here this week and it feels properly autumnal now, its definitely time to switch the heated airer on, but not the heating of course :snow_laugMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Oh dear oh dear, I'm not doing well with the daily updates so far!
HEALTH- lost 2.5lb at WW this week and in Dd's kind words "how the h*ll did you manage that after all that curry and wine the night before mother" :rotfl:
Stuck to WW points the last few days, it's a major trial if you are naturally greedy
WEALTH- not sure, have bought a few Xmas bits from seperate budget , have done a few top up shops and bought to a sequinned dress for Xmas from n@xt £26 , it does just about fit but I need to drop a dress size , so it's hanging on the wardrobe door watching me
Will check accounts later
ORGANISATION- terribly unorganised the latter part of this week and have a lot of dirty washing and tidying to do.
FUN- met with best friend for a walk in the rain and cup of tea yesterday, taking dh to he cinema later, watching dr who tonight  with dd, boyfriend and his Dd who is a big fan, they will be having "party food" aka mini pizzas, spring rolls, mini eclairs etc.
Some good news is ds2 has had a bit of good fortune and managed to get a work placement at a very good production company (strings pulled by my little brothers best friend) unpaid of course but good experience. Both ds1 and 2 are still looking for work though, I have pushed them both to sign on at the job centre, i think it will help hopefully, no response from any of the agency's though, stressful times!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Heated airer on here too. Far too frugal to use the tumble dryer more than absolutely necessary. I'm wearing a jumper and hoody as well as fluffy socks, I'm the only one that feels the cold so heating not on yet. I remember putting it on in August one year!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

I've been trying to work out a longer term op plan again today, the problem is I just can't decide what to do.
So I think it best to just work with smaller targets for the time being. October to Decembers challenge is to pay for the cruise and spending money so we need to stick to a budget of £814 pm (slightly higher as I didn't raise dh's money).
So far in October I've spent £238.04 so £575.56 left.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
HEALTH- planning on a long walk today and a top up shop of salad and fruit so I keep on track this week.
WEALTH-Xmas shopping research properly starts this week, discount days, offers on hukd, cashback etc. and a list of ideas of what to get and when to buy it, I'm inspired after watching martins xmas tv show I'd recorded last night.
ORGANISATION- sorted through dodgy clothes rail and replaced with a double one I bought recently, fished out summer bits and what I won't wear anymore. Our bedroom is huge but only has room for one large wardrobe due to the layout.
FUN- Buying a new iron and ironing the mountain of clothes I tried to iron yesterday, that's about as fun as my day gets :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Wednesday already! Where is the time going at the moment
HEALTH- stuck to the WW points, no alcohol yesterday, no "bake off" treats while watching the show and didn't sit down from 6 am until 11pm except to watch the afore mentioned programme
WEALTH- Emergency fat free yoghurt and salad bought from expensive petrol store m@s on way home last night.
ORGANISATION- did all ironing up to date until I now sort mountain of fresh washing , I swear there must be thirty odd people living here not five :rotfl:
FUN- not much dh fun just work and ironingMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
