Blimey, I'd not reaslised I hadn't posted In so long it's not like me.
It s been another busy week, the boys are back at college (hooray!) dd is back at uni very soon, and I am away on Friday
I've been feeling quite stressed out lately and I don't really know why, minor ailments that I've had before are starting to mildly return (stress related ones) which in turn I get stressed out about.
The finances are way too tight this month and I will run out very soon, it's not really a major problem, in the old days it would have been a case of which credit card has enough available limit left to put food on it. It is still disheartening to be so close to the end and the odd month keeps tagging on to the finish line
The diet has not gone well the last two weeks, after losing 5lb three weeks ago, I have put on 3 1/2 lb since, I've not really tracked what I am eating and have had too many treats, I've just not been the in the mood which is no excuse as I should do it anyway!
So today has a long to do list:
Take back ugly sandals I bought to walk around Italy in - can't wear them, although comfy they are just too old lady :rotfl:
Iron and pack
Do many loads of washing and iron what I can get dry (tumble which is only used for undies has died, outside airer has broken so I'm down to one heated airer, may stick the heating on today to clear the backlog!)
Clean whole house
Sort finances out and decide what to do regarding the fact that I've about £60 left to last until 7th October
Pick up prescription
Change beds
Buy phone charger
Buy present for mums birthday and cards/wrap
Get some euros
Stay positive

I have a few days off booked so now don't have to work until Tuesday week :j
Plans for today, possibly cinema and lot s of cleaning /packing.
As I'm away really early which is payday, I'm borrowing all of our wages from the offset to make all transfers before I go and I'll just pay it back on Monday from the wages.
It's super tight at the moment and I've juggled everything that can be juggled without dipping into the new savings pot. It will be a longer month than usual as well as the budget now starts from 7/8th of the month not the 1st when the old credit card ran from. However hopefully we can just wing it and make the mortgage payments planned for the next few months, all going well we should go under £40k by the end of this year, I will be very annoyed if this doesn't happen anyway

Back from Italy and it was great
beautiful enormous five star hotel in an opulent but slightly faded style. We spent an afternoon in Florence which is no time to visit anything due to the queues but was stunning and I want to go back soon to do it fully. Half a day in Pisa and the rest of the time eating and drinking in great company
Spending was under £500 not sure exact figure yet, but less than the budget :TMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

It's been an uneventful week so far, yesterday cleaning out the kitchen cupboards and getting rid of food from around 1978 :rotfl: should make it easier for meal planning and being generally more organised. Then a late trip to the cinema to try and stay awake through young Frankenstein (not my cup of tea at all!) but my good deed of the week as ds2 likes it and wanted to see it on the big screen.
Dh has been invited to a 50th Boys weekend away, we were hoping it would fall after our boys' 18ths next year as they want to go too (it's the guys from work plus my little brother going) but they want to book it for June
dh is hoping that will consider the last week of july so they can go to and will be 18.
It would do us a favour as they are still having none of this awful "family holiday" malarkey :rotfl: fingers crossed everyone can make it then , otherwise he will be going away twice  he will be shutting the factory for two days as well as everyone will be away except me and the part time elderly office lady.
Need to get up now as I am off to the shops with my best friend to look at clothes I will be buying to wear at Xmas when I am at goal weight
So behind with diaries, I will have a good catch up later, hope everyone is well
