Well it's going to be slimming world, best friend thinks it will be healthier long term and has done both before. Tonight Dd and I are going to my mums for an impromptu chilli with plenty of wine (ahem before it's more or less banned next week!) all the men are at football and dh will stay at home alone enjoying an empty house :D

I've been wasting a bit of time the last couple of days watching game of thrones, it passed me by when it started, but now it's available on sky catch up for free so I'm getting hooked. Dd and I met eugene simons last year so I'm looking out for him :D

Thanks Cath, I do sometimes use Mfp but I need somebody looking over initially I think, hopefully when I get in the swing of it I can go it alone, I have very little will power :o

I've a will power problem too. Very very strong will power for coffee and cake:rotfl:

I used MFP before and it worked well. Also found if I exercised it made me not eat biscuits cause I thought what's the point!

I am back to the same weight I started though so best not take my advice!:rotfl:

    Oh dear Firegirl :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nothing planned today at all :D (except the dreaded ironing pile!) dh has decided not to go to work and has taken ds1 to a boot sale this morning, on the look out for retro games and records this time. I managed to spend loads of money yesterday without leaving the house :o my really tight budget lasted er, about three days.....

First totally unesssesary item will sound a bit bonkers, but I've been on the look out for a glam kitsch floor length dressing gown, a 1950s-70s type. I spotted one on fleabay yesterday that ticked all the boxes - its floor length , has frills around the edges, has large swans all over it, I had to buy it :D haggled from £40 to £33 including postage, dh not so keen, but then he is not expert on 1970's gowns :p

Second rather more pricey purchase was 2x tickets for the boys to see the gorillas at the 02 in December £125  they sold out of standing tickets for the first night's show and I spotted last night they added another date and the waiting room had just opened :T They will be birthday presents of course as I'm not that generous :rotfl:

Not sure how to accommodate my spending yet, on the plus side I saved money by making a huge Indian takeaway style dinner last night which went down ok, downside is I ate a few onion bhajis and it took hours to cook all the dishes.

OK, so I went off to ebay to find this - very nice, but you really need fluffy mules to go with it and hair in rollers :D. In the olden days a cigarette hanging out of the mouth would have completed the picture ;).

Yes yes yes, fluffy mules with a little heel :T great idea, I have rollers but might leave the fag if that's ok :D

How did you see it though if it's been sold? I don't understand the mysteries of fleabay.

If you do an advanced search you can see completed listings.

I've almost want to take a look as it sounds hilarious (sorry, NG) but dread to think what Mrs. K. would think if she saw my ebay search history and that came up. :rotfl:

My main aim in life is to embarrass the kids wherever possible, this falls into that category perfectly :D
