I have a debenhams voucher from my birthday to spend, which is proving tricky as its so expensive in there, I think i would have done better with a primarni voucher, its more my style :rotfl:

primarni lol, funny how people always change the name for Primark, we pronounce it "pri-mar-chay" :)

Well I managed to spend the debenhams vouchers, but not on me. There was nothing I liked enough to spend £35 on. But they did have some mens levis in the sale so I got some for dh, and they only cost £10 of real money. I did get myself some jeans and a denim skirt in another cheaper shop though, plus 3 pairs of pumps from primarni, which were a fantastic £2.90 a pair, you can't get much more mse than that.:D A for the 4k challenge, i will have to work out what i have taken from aprils money.:o

I have managed to do a few things on my list today, actually, I just checked the list and I did everything on it!! this must be the first time ever. Tomorrow should be quite productive as I think dd will be off sick she is not feeling well again, so I will stay in and do some housework.

Woo Hoo! I have had £50 payable on tcb today, from dh renewing the works van breakdown cover. I stopped him doing it over the phone just in time.:D
Also have reached enough points on my aa credit card to get a voucher for £20, so I've chosen a love to shop one which I will give dd for one of her birthday presents.
One poll is still being a pain and not working properly, and vo doesn't like me at the moment, so no surveys done so far today.
DD is off with an upset tummy, so I'm going to tidy up a bit and do some ironing.

I have a long list of things to do at the moment, but am not at all in the mood to get started. I have read my meters this morning and worked out how much we have used per day since the last statement and its less. The cost of the last huge bill worked out to £8.51 per day, but going on todays figures this has dropped down to £5.23 per day, still a lot of room for improvement but a good start.

We are going away next weekend without the kids for a work do in norfolk, so I have lots to get ready, I think I might start by cleaning the car , I think its only been cleaned once in its life :o

I've not had a good day today, an old school friend who I've not seen for a while was due her first baby 14 days ago, and I've just found out that she was still born. They had been checking her every few days as she was overdue but let her just continue until baby was ready, I'm not sure what happened exactly , but she was not in hospital but a water birth centre, so much less facilities. Its just so sad, I've not seen her for years, but I just can't stop thinking about it.

That is awful. I had a friend who's first baby was still born, and then went on to have another 2 very quickly. I can't even imagine going through all of the pregnancy to then not have the baby. Awful. Don't dwell on it too much though hon. Just give your kids an extra hug and be thankful.

Today I'm up early as I'm off to the ideal home exhibition with my DM. Tickets free via MSE :money:, am really looking forward to it and hardly ever go out on my own with my mum, and its the first time we have been to london together. Fingers crossed we find our way home again :rotfl:
Banking transfers are done for the week, I'm leaving all the mess and jobs for another day.

The ideal home ex. was good, did not buy anything though and it was really busy, but made a change. The best bit was the "games room" stand with restored jukeboxes and pool tables, fantastic. Now i have ideas way out of my league for the log cabin :rotfl:

We queued for AGES to go in the coronation street house, which was really good, am watching it now to try and see if it is exactly like the one on tv!
It was quite an mse day , I pinched dh's oyster card, and just spent on lunch for me and DM £8 in total. However I have spoilt it by buying some wine in m&s on the way home and sending DH round the corner for an indian takeaway, I am sitting here starving waiting for him to get back. :D

Another busy weekend, I spent the whole day washing and ironing, (using the tumble as well :o). I'm trying to get ahead of my self as DH and me are going away next week for his work without the kids, and EVERY time we go anywhere there is a last minute panic of packing/sorting out pets/kids/car etc. I am determined to be orgagnised and chilled out this time.

Today we are off to colchester zoo, we used to go a lot when they were little, and I love it there, The tickets are 50% off on vouchercodes and I'm doing a picnic, although i think we might have to eat in the car as its pretty cold today. So only spends should be petrol and coffee, plus I have a made a chilli to be left in the slow cooker for when we get back.

I need to sort out my food shopping, its been getting way out of hand, yesterday I sent dh to the large mrt with a list of stuff, mainly for today, and he managed to spend £38 on about 3 bags of stuff (which took him 2 hours to find). Lesson learned there I think :D I think I might have to give online a go again this month.
I should be getting my bum into gear now, but I have been mooching about on here with a cup of tea instead, reading sunnyday's great mf news, I can't imagine what that would feel like it seems such a long way away, but then I am very impatient, I just hope I do actually get to be mf before I get tempted and go and move house :) Its such a boost though when you see someone get to the end of the road.
We would feel very rich if we did get rid of this mortage, I just worked out that our total income is £2428 pm, and the mortgage payments from may will be hopefully £1649 pm. That would be a lot of extra to spend on curry and wine per month :rotfl:
