We've had that too Alex it's so frustrating! A newly passed teen rolled back in a traffic jam , hit our brand new car and damaged the bonnet, got out apologised and left all his details then lied to the insurance company and said dh drove into him  clearly mum and dad had A word when he got home.
I should go to work, the house needs a clean and I have a mountain of washing and ironing to do, plus a sit down would be nice at some point this week, but if I don't go and help on my day off I will feel guilty.:(MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Hi Newgirly
I have caught up on your diary finally, wow! Your achievements are extraordinary, you should be very proud of yourself
I have been debating buying a heated airer for a while now, as our TD seems to be on permanently at the moment, I am assuming an airer would be much cheaper to run therefore a great long term investment?
All the best, I will be cheering you on!

Thanks a typical blonde that's very kind
I can't recommend the airer (and Lakeland) enough, it is much cheaper than a tumble dryer and mine currently has 3 loads crammed onto it now including towels and sheets over the topMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

The officially end date is april 2022 , when I joined mse in 2010 I cut the term from I think it was 33 years to 12, but the real aim is to clear it by oct next year, or more realistically the very end of next year!
Busy day yesterday, went to work to help out and then hospital on the way home to visit great uncle, then ald* to do the weekly shop as I didn't want to brave the crowds at the weekend, spent £89  I now have very little left until the end of the month from the £300, need to update all figures today.
Diet going well, although it's coming off slower than I want it toI am struggling some days with no wine (at weekends basically) so might allow myself the odd few glasses then if I'm still doing OK with diet, but not yet as I've not earned it.
Plans for this weekend:
Hardly anything :T
Do all washing/ ironing
Try and keep the daily steps up, whilst trying to have a lazy weekend :rotfl:

My dry January got wet tonight too
. In my defence most of it was whisky for a cold
.
And I have averaged more than 10,000 steps a day so farA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
