I lost a lot of weight using my fitness pal. You just type in your food and don't go over the calories. You can eat what you want that way............ I find it much harder to each sensibly when I am tired let alone lose weight. This week has been a bit of a disaster foodwise but I am sure that is because it coincides with the end of term so a lot more running around after the children. I want to crawl into bed and stay there at the moment.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Thanks, but it's less than should be paying
In typical style I have made a large mistake when working out the budgets and required payments with the gift I was given by my parents. I have neglected to include the 0% cc repayments at £143 pm
So now if we are to clear in 25 months we need to reduce costs by that much - or extend the term a little. I am soooo annoyed with myself!
So I don't know how this will pan out, but have decided to attempt to live on less. I've been reading through some of my old diary posts from when I first started here (in 2010) it's very strange as my youngest kids were just turning 10. I was a sahm and MUCH better with money.
There are a couple of luxuries that selfishly I would like to keep for me
1). Nails infilled £16 pm (occasionally £32)
2). Coffee and sarnie with best friend once a week
Other than that the cut backs can start properly, obviously if I need to cut out my treats I will
Kids and dh still get pocket money for their own treats so no need to feel sorry for them
Due to my other huge financially error this month- paying the whole balance of a holiday instead of £50, I am very short.
I have £102 to last me until 1st August and it's the twins' birthdays next Sunday so cake Needed. It has to be bought as I bought dds last week and they prefer shop made , whch says a lot about my cakes :rotfl:
So today I've rummaged the cupboards and dug out the flour and yeast and stuck the bead maker on, done loads of washing and hung it out, and am about to see if I can find anything to eBay, bring on the old style ways again :beer:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Good luck with that NG.

Cheers shs, I think I'll have a week or so off trying to diet as its just stressing me out and I want to focus on the money side of things.
Just done an online mr t shop, £1 delivery and no deviating from the list, I had £23 of club card vouchers that I've used so £21.49 incl, £1 delivery spent of real money. Usually I would get restaurant vouchers but not this time, that would mean spending more on drinks etc. too :A
Given dh a lecture after he was going to buy a bottle of cider at the corner shop today for £3.99 , so I've ordered him a tesco bottle the same size for for £2 and he's currently drinking squash bless him, I didn't force him he said I guilt tripped him into it :rotfl:
House smells amazing , I've not baked bread for agesMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Definitely off the diet today, I've made onion bhajis :smileyhea not shop bought type ones but proper Indian restaurant style ones, it's a "girl called jack" receipe - dirt cheap and fabulous
Popped round my parents earlier and ended up having two glasses of wine and leaving the car and getting a lift home ( with half a bottle of leftover wine ) I think hey may have had an ulterior motive though as I seem to have agreed to do Xmas this year :eek:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
