I'm getting some. I love them. When defrosted would they be okay for salads or just mashed or in a smoothie?

    :hello:hola GG :D

Oh dear frozen avocado is not like fresh :( easier to mash for toast but tastes kind of foamy? Would be great in smoothies but probably be very mushy and a bit odd in salads. Will persevere in case I get used to it!

Back on the dairy and drinking a glass of red tonight, I am officially a failure in that respect, I am way under on cals though so it's not all bad.

Great news today, although not that mse - there is a new Turkish restaurant opening literally round the corner, plus a new fruit and veg shop :j looks like they are both owned by the same family. Fingers crossed its a good restaurant, it can't be more than a 60 second walk!

Went to town with my friend today and got 2x Iceland Valentine meal deals  not the classiest choice ever, but it was £10 per deal (well £19.32 for 2x deals strangely!) for 2x vintage cheddar souffl! starters, 2x cream brûl!e desserts, various mains x2 and a bottle of pink prosecco per deal. I was getting a bottle of drink anyway to take round mums tomorrow night for a family curry night, so the food was a bonus.

Creeping in with a confession :o we have just bought a car!

It's a Mercedes c180 kompressor , 4 door auto saloon, 2007 plate. It was a bit spur of the moment as lots of our car purchases have been to tell the truth. But it's got low mileage , full merc. service history and is in really good condition. We have chopped in the (much hated) Zafira and have paid an extra £2800. The Zafira was not worth much as it has a lot of damage from being hit by a bus :o

It could be a fabulous buy, or one of our all time worst car descisions (actually that's not true , we once bought an mgf whilst on holiday and it caught fire on the way home and burnt my new boots which were in the boot!) but it's done now. It was totally my idea, but I knew dh would love it and he works very hard and never spends any money -mostly as I cling on to most of it. Those are my excuses and I am sticking to them :D

Plenty of cash flow juggling needed now, it should not impact on the mortgage payments over the course of the next couple of months , but will obviously mean less op's over the op figure required if that makes sense. Ie. Interest only this month and then extra oping to make up the difference for the next two months.

    Phew, slinking off now.

Don't shs, I feel like a naughty school girl :rotfl:

Picked up ds1 from my parents on the way back and my dad was clearly unimpressed! My parents upgrade their cars every year (brand new) so I am not quite sure why!

Managed to have a mini row with dh, Iceland starters in oven, me having a quick bath, dh in charge of starters, me out of bath, him fast asleep. Him cross with me for no reason, me sulking upstairs, him half heartedly apologising after half an hour :rotfl: happy valentines :happyhear we really are worse than the children sometimes!
