    Blimey lots of comments :)

Hi again gm4l I am Definatly focusing on the mortgage for the time being and hopefully we won't need to extend , fingers crossed. As for The kids moving somewhere cheaper, yes probably but hopefully not too far away :D (but not too close either :rotfl:)

The cruise is not particularly cheap as I don't want to do a week or more which seems to be the cheapest way (homesick/worries about the kids etc.!) it's more that it appealed as a short cruise more than others.

GG and occ it's a royal carribean which we have never done before, and I love p and o  it's a mahoosive new ship - the ovation , 5 nights maiden voyage, Southampton to Paris /Cherbourg/Bruges. A pretty dull itinery but it suits us due to the date (just early enough to not effect exams for the boys -nagging wise ;)) and as we only do mini cruises it will hopefully be a change. Price is a lot , £640 each incl. drinks package for a superior larger balcony room, all other rooms cheaper were sold out. Did manage to haggle via a few agents and reduce the price by £60 each.

Weight loss now 7 3/4 lbs :D not filling our mfp all the time as its time consuming, have been wearing the fit bit but mostly at work when I am stood still a lot of the day , so I am only doing about 6k steps. Off today so will see if its any higher.

Food budget still under the £250 need to check receipts and Update today, likewise work out the shuffle to cover the cruise I booked. Don't think frugal jan went to well due to that really :rotfl:

Nice cruise,(it does not go to Paris!) stay on that day, Le Havre has nothing much, get the best from the ship

:rotfl: my geography is bad but not that bad! Yes it's Le Havre, I guess putting paris makes it look more appealing. :D thanks for the tip about Le Havre, we probably won't bother with Paris as its a trek and we have both been before and I was not that keen.

I don't think it really matters about the itinerary with those big mega ships - to a large extent, the ship is the destination.

    Enjoy!

Thanks GG, will report back when we have been :)

Lots of cleaning today, even did the boys' rooms "shudder" nearly time to do the money shuffle, plenty of working out required this month after spending so much.

Money shuffle done, not as bad as I thought, we have just scraped by to pay the cruise in full this month and still make the £301 interest and £1538 op as well :j maths tuition put by for the month too. Partly due to dh earning more this month and partly the switch to cc's and not using cash again.

This is a temporary surplus until the tax year ends, next month the surplus will be mainly paying the maths tuition until June when exams start.

Out for dinner last night for best friend's birthday (girls only no hubbies) a lovely new Turkish restaurant locally has recently opened, nice food , belly dancing and music, although we did have to wait nearly an hour for our pre booked table as it was so packed.

I did make myself a cheap dinner tonight though to attempt to balance the cost :D spicy lentil curry and a Mr t reduced mini nan at 6p so probably all in around 40p for dinner.
