Well done on the loft clearing - I think I will follow Katsu's approach and buy some plastic boxes to put some stuff into. We really have far too much up there - it seems like an enormous Frog at the moment. I don't like to prevaricate but in this case I seem to be.
One Saturday in January will see the loft emptied, sorted and stuff replaced. It's in black and white now, but cheekily not on my diary :rotfl:
Happy New Year to you and your family.

Its the last day of the year already! Decided to do a full 2013 wish list (like the one seen on GG's thread):
-Pay £10,733 (savings £10,200 - op's £533) minimum
-Set a monthly challenge, something different each time
-Clear loft
- re-do garden
- decorate living room/conservatory/hall
- lose over 1 stone
- stop drinking
-Earn £2013
-make at least 1 homemade item per month for next xmas
-Have as much fun with kids as possible, a couple of trips to alton towers and a big halloween party
-spend a bit less time on laptop and read
- learn to use the sewing machine I desperately wanted and have not used in over a year
-Get out in the fresh air exercising
- make a payment a day to the mortgage even if I don't have the money and its just 10p
- make own bread ALL the time (must do as mum bought me electric knife for xmas!)
-keep a stock of batch cooked meals at all times for me and dh
- Do minimum of 1 survey per day
- start ebaying properly
Thats it so far!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Happy new year everyone
We had the quietest new year ever, a meal deal from mr t, no alcohol and I spent 12 o'clock parked down a country lane waiting to collect dd from at a party at her friend's.
This morning I still feel ill, but have woken up in such a positive mood, sun is streaming through the house for the first time in ages it really is lovely (if showing up the dust a lot :rotfl:)
I'm off to weigh myself  and then hopfully do a bit of housework/ironing and catch up with some more diaries.:DMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Happy new year - I love your idea of a challenge a month to keep up the momentum0
