I did sell an unused thorpe park ticket on there a couple of months ago with dd's help and it went for over double the face value, I couldn't have been more excited of i'd won the lottery, watching the bids go up was fantastic.:D
this resonates with me, as I've recently got my mum hooked on ebay in a bid to make her want to learn how to use a computer. Its workingknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
I'm also debating whether to continue with onepoll, as I have about £3 worth so to get up to £40 payout will take forever and I'm not sure I can face it! On the other hand when you do surveys for pennies it makes it harder to spend money as it takes so long to earn it. I should probably carry on with it I guess.:D
But otherwise they've had three pounds' worth for free! :eek:0 -
Ok,ok I did a survey last night before bed on one poll, I now will check in at least once a day and get that £40 :rotfl:
DH is back at work today , so I will do some cleaning and start the ironing, I don't seem to have the vast amounts I used to get now I'm using the heated airer every day it leaves clothes much less creased.
Although, if the weather stays dry I should really get the washing line de-spidered and start using that was well.
I'm off to make my daily opMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Oh dear, I've been spending today
: dressing gown for dd £5
: birthdays presents for best friend £25
: mc donalds for kids at shops £7.14
: £6.90 memory foam pillow for me (left my old one in the holiday cottage we stayed at in August)
I've still 2x birthdays to buy for this month which will be all of my £50 personal allowance gone, and with that lot above I now have £23.23 left for the month (plus £139.34 grocery budget , and £47.44 petrol)
Argh, I thought this was going to be easy! I've also been asked out with the girls I meet for lunch for one of their birthdays and I often decline, I feel quite awkward doing that when its someones birthday though, so I just have to hope its a very cheap one
My lovely friend who lives in thailand is going back home on saturday so I have invited her and her little one, plus my best friend and her two for lunch on friday, I need to think of something nice I can make for lunch that's not too heavy that I already have in so I don't need to go shopping properly yet, maybe sarnies and cake?
Off to do my daily onepoll surveys now like a good girl :TMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I've just updated my signature, and very annoyingly I can't use colour anymore
I've made an op of £6.33 today and checked for surveys again. Still not a lot spent on food, last night I used up some leftover lamb from the night before's curry and made a cassserole and I had jam on toast as I was too lazy to cook for me.
Might book a hotel room if I can sort out a date as we are visiting b&sil who moved away before xmas, as its just dh and I going we were going to get a nicer hotel in town but prem*er inn have a room 1 mile out of town for just £19 in their sale so I think as its a quick one nighter that will do.
Today's task is to sort out snacks for visitors this aftenoon and lunch for visitors tomorrow, do flyladying and list something on ebay.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Its been a hectic day with a house full of noisy children (most of them mine):p
I've made a cheap tea of veggie leftover curry/ scrambled egg on toast (from mums eggs)/ jacket spuds and beans. Not altogether of course but for different members of the family.:D
I've booked a hotel room for me and dh to visit the inlaws for £19 in a few weeks time, and am even on the brink of ordering a prom dress for dd  We have found one on flea bay made to measure for £90 and are awaiting confirmation from her friend that the dress is ok before ordering, don't ask:rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
£10.48 op made today, £10 of that from halifax rewards
one poll survey for 5p done.
Managed to boot up my old laptop long enough to give my signature some colour, and have added a target to save up to get the garden done in summer, that will have to come from extra earnings and maybe the council tax free 2x months.
I might pop to ic*land this morning as my friend is doing lunch instead of me and I need to take some snacks, plus I might get a big bag of mince for some batch cooking. Yesterday I made 3x portions of veggie curry, today I might make a slow cooker of weezl's bean curry which is a super cheap healthy receipe.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
10p onepoll done, 10p op made
I am getting a bit worried about the budget for january, I have enough for petrol and even think the food budget will be ok possibly, its just I have about £21 left for everything else.Thats 22 days (until 27th when my budget starts) , so £1 a day ish  I need to buy 4x birthday cards and some giftwrap.
Batch cooking didn't get done yesterday a I was catching up with a friend before she heads back to her life in Thailand, currently building her home on the most beautiful island, and running her own business.(Not really jealous :rotfl:)
Anyway, I need to try and get my lazy family out of bed, the kids are NEVER going to get up for school on Monday at this rate, they don't get up before 10 at the moment. I must say I will miss them but I am looking forward to having the house to myself for a few hours next weekMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
