Feeling totally worn out today, and have lots of work to do.
I'm also feeling fed up as I've been called up for jury service which I really don't want to do, and the first week clashes with my parents holiday so there will be no-one around for the kids. I can defer it but it could end up being anytime, school summer hols etc. or while we are away, so I think I will have to bite the bullet and let DD look after the boys before and after school.
Should help with the weight loss as I am stressing out already about it :rotfl:
Last night Dh came home to me making laundry gloop in the kitchen, bottles and buckets everywhere and he said this is the point that I have probably gone too far! I have used it and it seems fine , just not much smell, but I have ordered some lemon oil to add to it. Has anyone else made gloop, and if not like dh says , have I finally gone too far?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
That made me laugh, you can never go too far when it comes to saving money.
I havent made gloop, ive tried soap nuts.I have quite a stockpile off washing liquid so havent had to resort to gloop yet.
Jury service  dont envy you that one.
Thanks for clicking the adverts, ive read somepeople make a fortune from adsense ,no such luck for me but every little is helping especially since its raining all the time and OH is at home.

Thanks nto, shame about the rain it must set you back quite a bit if you dh does not get paid.
Laundry gloop seems good , my lemon oil turned up this morning so I put about 5 drops per load in with the gloop and it does smell lemony (it would i suppose!)
I am failing badly this week as i have the heating on as 1) its freezing, and 2) i can't get all the washing dry quick enough. It was also on all night as dh forgot to switch it off when he went to bed.
I have been stuck in and fed up today so I have made weezls "sheperdless pie" for me and dh tonight, then i realised he is at a meeting in london until very late and will be getting a kebab on the way home, so a total waste of effort as the kids won't eat anything with lentils in. Oh well, moaning overMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

You can always freeze his portion / the whole thing for another time? I always think it is great when I realise that there is a HM 'ready meal' in the freezer and so there is no need to cook!0 -

Hell no! Please point me in the direction of the recipe (although tonight I did just buy a load of laundry detergent on offer)
Well done on the weightloss so far - half a stone is almost a legs worth! Am also impressed with you sig for your £2012 challenge
I did Jury Service over a decade ago - am sure you get a travel allowance and lunch tokens? Every cloud has a MSE lining0 -
Hi curlygirl, the reciepe i found on the oldstlyle boards was:
- grate 1 bar of soap (fairy or sunlight is best but I used sainsbugs as it smelt a bit like fairy which they did'nt have)
- disolve in 1 1/2 litres of boiling water on the stove
- add 1/2 cup borax or borax substitue and stir in
- add 1/2 cup soda crystals and stir
- make sure all is melted fully and let cool
- get a bucket with 8 1/2 lites of hand hot water
- mix in the soapy stuff with the water
- let cool
- decant into used milk cartons/fizzy bottles etc.
- the next morning mine had switched from a rubbish looking runny liquid to a white gloopy consistency
- put a few drops of essential oil if you want a scent, I got some lemon oil on flea bay for £1.40 free del and put a few drops in the draw
- Ps borax was from robert dyas about £1.69

Hi weronika, hope you and bubs are well, it is a bit chilly here but to be honest the heating was on all last week when I was ill, hence why its off now. It can't be that cold though as my kids are still lounging around in pj shorts and yesterday dd has a summer dress on brrr!
Thanks, we are all good, just immensely tired:D I doscovered having 2 kids means that work is suddenly multiplying:D
I am venturing out the house to the shops with my mum today for the first time in ages for a coffee, just need to hold off spending too much. £10 a day starts today, but i do have a good head start as we have quite a lot of food in so it should be ok, also starting my diet again, I have lost 1/2 a stone since xmas which is a lot less than i should have lost, I would like to lose another 1 1/2 stones before summer.
Oh, I need to loose so much of the (first:D) baby weight I don't even want to think about it. Most likely 2 stones if my math is right:(
But that starts in May, now I'm eating ice creams, bananas and homemade toffee sauce (See? I can cook!)Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Hi, NTO just be careful with that one - it's against ToS to ask friends to click ads and they will block your account completely if ever found out or even suspicious of it.Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)
