My home is so empty without my beautiful Sally who finally lost her fight last week :A
As someone posted above dogs leave no wills but they do leave space for another rescue dog and we hope that little Jake will be able to join us (if we pass the home check).

They let us take him out for the day on Sunday so we took him to the beach. He was very pull your arm out of your socket but really good natured otherwise.
Wish us luck

So sorry to hear about Sally - she clearly had a loving, lovely home with you. Here is the poem, it's called 'A Dog's Legacy' I believe...
When humans die, they make a will
To leave their homes and all they have
To those they love.
I, too, would make a will if I could write.
To some poor wistful lonely stray
I leave my happy home,
My dish, my cosy bed, my cushioned chair, my toy,
The well loved lap, the gently stroking hand,
The loving voice,
The place I made in someone’s heart,
The love, that at the last could help me to
A peaceful painless end
Held in loving arms.
If I should die Oh do not say,
"No more a pet I’ll have
To grieve me by it’s loss"
Seek out some lonely, unloved dog
And give my place to him.
This is my legacy I leave behind
‘Tis all I have to give.
Good luck with Jake - he looks lovely - bet he is a bit of a rascal though - in the nicest possible way! Do let us know how you get on.0 -

Ooooohhhh I love Ginger the female cat, and I don't usually rate ginger cats so highly.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
He looks lovely. If you do adopt him, Id suggest you get him a halti harness. If he pulls it will lift his front feet off the ground without hurting him. Hopefully after having that happen on several walks he will give up on the pulling0

Gem, Jake looks lovely - hope he settles in well for you!
Still not heard anything about the home visit to see if we are suitable to adopt our little one - I'm thinking it's not going to happen now:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
