Thanks a lot. I have managed to change the channel of the router to number 4, then I lost connection on the laptop as I also changed the security to WPA from WEP so had to change the settings on my laptop too be be able to connect again. I assume I will have to change it on other PCs and PS3 too, will do tomorrow and will see if that improves the speed. Thanks again.

Hi glad you are getting sort of sorted, however the graph shows lots of strong signals in the kids' room so you may still need to buy a homeplug/dslan or similar, but if it does improve keep an eye on the neighbours, that's Broadband Britain I am afraid
