CCP Am making your butternut squash & spinach quiche for tomorrow's meal - can't wait!

It wasn't one of mine, unfortunately - I can't remember whose it was either, but hopefully whoever it was will identify themselves. It did sound scrummy, though, so I hope you enjoy it. :)

Your cheese and vegetable flan sounds lovely - I'll have that on my menu when the weather gets properly warm, I think. At the moment I'm sticking to colder weather food - it's warm enough during the day for me to eat salady stuff for lunch, but by the evening it's chilly enough that I appreciate something hot for dinner.
Back after a very long break!

I am on a "working from the freezer" week, to avoid a supermarket shop. So my rough plan is:
Fri - roasted chicken portions, spuds and veg of some sort (possibly baby leeks, or roasted tomatoes)
Sat: Mushroom risotto or BBQ (Weather Dependent)
    Sun: Roast or BBQ (WD)
Mon: I think I have a lasagne in freezer
Tues: Beef meatballs (whoopsied), HM tomato sauce and pasta
    Wed: Pork Stirfry with noodles
Thurs: Chicken curry (using leftovers of HM sauce from last curry feast in freezer)
    Fri: Gorgonzola Pasta

OK :) its taken me a while this week as I had so much meat left in the freezer I couldn't believe it! So had to juggle things a little to use up some of it!

Friday: Burgers and Salad and perhaps a jacket potato
Saturday: Roast chicken soup from "The delicious Miss Dahl" Melancholy
Sunday: Roast beef with peppercorn sauce and steamed veggies
Monday: Steak and Ale pie and mash- will use the leftovers for stew next week
Tuesday: Chilli con Carne and rice
Wednesday: Lasagne chips and garlic bread
Thursday: HM Chicken and lentil curry (from the freezer) with HM Naan breads
Friday: Leftover takeaway chinese meal (in the freezer) with some accompanyments

Er... think that's it :) have a good week all :)

Oops :o:o I've just had a look back at last weeks thread and it was Champys who shared the recipe - sorry hon :)

The flan is fab and so easy just roll the pastry out to the required size and put on a greased tin. Score about half an inch from the edge and plonk the ingredients on. The sides where you have scored rise up all puffy & crispy and the cheese melts etc. It is very yummy & very easy ;):D

First time posting a meal plan, am trying to get into the habit of planning regularly as redundancy (and a huge drop in income) looms on the horizon. Anyway this is the plan for this week:

Friday: Ham/tomato and cheese puff pastry tart (recipe on puff pastry packet), ciabatta rolls.
Saturday: Hotdogs/fried onions and mushrooms in rolls, and salad.
Sunday: Chicken encroute, dauphinouise (sp?) potatoes, roast parsnips and veg.
Monday: Cheesy pasta bake made with left over hotdogs from Saturday.
Tuesday: Spicy pork mince ~ recipe here: http://www.farmfreshfoods.com/recipes/pork.html
Wednesday: Reggae reggae burgers with greek salad and couscous
    Thursday: LO meatball pasta bake
Friday: Homemade fish pie and veg
