I think it is all down to replying to everyone who messages you, even if they are prats and you are telling them to sod off- cos that way on your thing it comes up that you reply often, thus encouraging others to write to you.

That's true. Also viewing lots of profiles helps, as it registers that you have viewed them and they might contact you even if you didn't message them.

And every time you sign in, it puts you to back to the top of the 'online' list, so anyone searching is more likely to spot your profile.

It sounds like I have put waaaaay too much thought into this, but V runs various websites so knows all the little tricks, and he has taken it upon himself to be my 'dating coach'. :rotfl:

the other thing is it has made me realise I would like a boy friend. that's annoying. Once that bit of my head has been switched off I literally don't think about it but now all this harmless flirting and questions. sets your brain going
