    But lots of females wee on theirs, so use whatever you can get hold of, I would say.

    I've just received a tip from an old boy on an allotment.

    He said that you can keep cats off a patch of your garden if you get a man to pee in a circle around the patch. :rotfl:

    I have read somewhere that pee kills moss on lawns, i presume if you soil is acidic then male urine could be good for this. Has anyone got any thoughts on this

    Apparently it also works for keeping out foxes as well!

    I remember years ago being told that archaelogists look out for stinging nettles on sites as they are a sign of human urine in the ground :)

    I'm not sure that's completely correct. If it is, then most of my orchard was one huge urinal!

    However, I think it is true that sites of waste dumps - the old equivalent of our recycling centres - are often indicated by the presence of a nettle beds in otherwise weed-free fields.
