I still can not understand when people complain that Tesco, or any other supermarket, do not accept other peoples vouchers. The Farmfood ones actually say on them only accepted at Farmfoods.
As for querying it with their head office if you have done this by email then take a copy of the email with you and your receipt and ask for a refund of the voucher.
Many supermarkets advertise that they will take vouchers from other stores because they want to encourage you to shop with them.0 -
Just got back from the weekly shop at Tesco and there were signs up at all the checkouts saying that Farm Foods vouchers are no longer being accepted
Not sure if this is a national policy or just affecting the Tesco Extra in Peterborough...0 -

I know my Tesco will accept vouchers from Asda, Sainsburys and Morrisons that say eg. "£6 off when you spend £60" as there are huge signs at the entrance advertising this fact. I also know at mine that they will NOT take coupons for a specific product that has not been purchased, as again there are signs at every till stating this.0

It may be that Tesco only take competitors coupons if there is a branch nearby, for example even if I had any Farm foods coupons the nearest branch to my tescos is 30miles away so I would be amazed if they would accept them. There is a Waitrose 2 miles away and they have accepted these before - heres hoping with the Telegraph coupon!0

Guys, I work for Tesco and the competitor coupon policy is that we will take the coupon as long it is a coupon that state £x off when you spend £y, however it can't be for certain product or dept, the only "condition" that must be on it is the one I stated. The coupons are taken from any competitor supermarket, except for Farmfoods which was stopped as of a few days ago. I'm not sure why, as no reason was given on the communication.0

Got to the stage where I shop elsewhere now - an assurance from CS that they should take them is no good to me when I have spent the £50 and then had the voucher refused. I've even had the Sainsbury's ones refused even though I've spent the amount required. Tesco's loss as I now shop elsewhere. Got fed up of scenes at the checkout.
Why wait till you are at the till, check with CSD first, memorise the persons name to quote at the till.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I used Farm foods money off vouchers last week in Teso, when I went shopping on Thursday I was told they are no longer accepting them (memo from their Head Office). Has anyone else had this?0

It is nation wide. No reason has been given, just told to stop taking Farmfood vouchers. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
