The following Early Day Motion was tabled in Parliament this morning. There are contact details to Ryanair at the end. Not sure if they are any good, but worth a try if you have a complaint to make.

    RYANAIR COMPLAINTS MECHANISM 24:7:06
    Mrs Sharon Hodgson
    Mr Andrew Dismore
    Mrs Iris Robinson
    Mr Eric Illsley
    Bob Spink
    Peter Bottomley
    * 20
Rob Marris Adam Price Lorely Burt
Jo Swinson Mr Jim McGovern Mr Brian Binley
John Austin Joan Ruddock John Hemming
    Mr David Clelland
That this House recognises that people are purchasing goods and services online in increasingly large numbers but that post-sales complaints are often not as easy to make electronically as the original purchases, which may unfairly reduce the volume of complaints and the chances of redress or could make it easier to fleece customers; notes that Ryanair is one of the main providers of cheap flights, which are popular with consumers; regrets that Ryanair has no plans to provide an email address for such purposes and directs its customers to use either a telephone number which costs 10 pence per minute or to post or fax complaints to its head office in Dublin; calls upon online-based companies such as Ryanair to improve the ability of their customers to communicate with the company after sales by at least publishing an email address for this purpose so that redress for poor service is made less complicated and expensive; and further notes, in the meantime, that Caroline Green, Head of Customer Services for Ryanair can be contacted at greenc@ryanair.com and that the geographical telephone number for its head office in Dublin is 00 353 18121212, which is cheaper than its high tariff 0871 number.

Im so pleased our MPs are debating this instead of far more trivial things like
    Hospitals,schools, prison overcrowding or Iraq

Im going to see my MP tommorrow BTW, a banana in ASDA's was smaller than the rest in the box.Im sure they put it in there deliberately to try and con the public

No bags and check in online for nothing - great!

However if one of you wants to do this and your partner wants to check in a bag guess what - you can't do it. It's both no bags or both check in. In truth you can make separate bookings but who want's to type all that gubbins twice and make 2 card payments when the rest of the world operates on 1 booking, 1 payment system.

    Sneaky stuff

So you're moaning because even they give you a way to save money, you can't be bothered?

If you choose to pay more to shop at Tesco rather than Iceland, which is five mins further away, whose fault is it that you pay more? Yours!
    Gone ... or have I?

That's very heavy-handed of you. Who elected you as spokesperson? You speak for nobody but yourself.

Ryanair charges card fees per passenger per flight so it doesn't matter how you do the booking, you'll make the same number of card fees.

Starting to think we should ask for a seperate board for the daily Ryanair rants? Starting to clutter up the travel board.

lets have a forum for more ryanair nonsense, it just gets more stupid by the day, over the last few days ryanair get the blame for having to fight for your seat, they get the blame for not allowing someone who has not paid or has got priority boarding on first

and now they get the blame because someone cant be bothered to book separate flights to save them money

why not have a forum for regular ryanair travellers who know the truth, and can see why they are the biggest international carriers in the world in such a short space of time

ill never fly ryanair again, blah, blah blah, yeah thats right, well not until you have to part with your hard earned cash and ryanair are the cheapest by a long way,
