  • A few quick questions:

Chrysanthemum - potted and left outside over winter, its dry and twiggy with no signs of leaves yet. Any way of rescuing it or shall I find a hardier alternative to hide the ugly gas pipe entering my house?!

Hyacinth hasn't flowered for a couple of years but does leaf in spring and die back in winter as it always has done.

I'm having much more success with veggies though!

    Hi Orange King,
Sooo excited to at last have my own shed, its not very big so Im looking for something to hang lawn mower, strimmer, hedge trimmer and general tools :-)

I have the mower hanging from some large hooks in the garage and the strimmer is hung off 2 long screws. Just ensure they are secure enough and an an angle to avoid them falling outwards on you or anything else!

I have been bringing my tubs of strawbs in every nightwhether there is a frost or not - if you have space I would leave them for a while yet unless you can get them protected.
  • Hey, I'm quite new to this forum, so bear with me.

I currently have a unpaid T-mobile debt of £743 from 14/09/2004, I have heard nothing from them since then, that's the reason why I totally forgot about it.

I was thinking of paying it off, but I heard if I do, the debt will stay on my credit file a few more years.

Is it best that I just leave it until it hits it's sixth year anniversary and hopefully it will expire?

And when I say leggy, I mean, longer than the length of my legs. To be honest they are nearly as tall as me (5'4"). But I say tall, they are long, still inside overnight so are draping over the kettle and down to the floor. They have quite a few leaves but the side shoots come out probably 8-12" apart along the roots. Another plant that was sown at the same time but germinated later is doing much better and is more "dense" with leaves

I know what I did wrong now, but is there any point carrying on with the really leggy ones? I was thinking of planting them out at the weekend around wigwams, but as they are so long already, I'm thinking it'll be a nightmare trying to get them to go round the poles now, and as the leaves are far apart i probably won't get many pods from them. I've planted some more last weekend so I will have plants to go aroudn the wigwams in a couple of weeks. Its just that my DH has come over all soft and is telling me "you can't give a seed the gift of life and then cruelly destroy it just because it doesn't fit the image of your "ideal plant"!"
