At the moment we're having a curry phase too...

I'd be quite happy though with the tikka sauce, the korma the rogan josh sauce, the nice tomato thingy with the potatoes, bombay potatoes and a huuge naan bread to dip in the sauces :rotfl:

No meat or rice, seem to eat hardly anything atm, but when I do it's the wrong stuff!
I'm not eating so much rice anymore:( I do look at the curry dishes longingly but I know damn well I can't cram anymore in...think baby intentionally lies on my stomach around dinner time:mad:

Hi, just looking for some advice. I started buying stuff for my hospital bag today. I went to an M&S Clearance store at a retail outlet and got lovely Per Una Pyjamas button top pyjamas for after the birth, 10 pairs of massive knickers, slippers and a cheap knee length nightie for the birth. I have no idea about bras that are suitable for breast feeding. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am fairly small chested and have always worn underwired, padded bras and have never tried anything else. I'm about 26 weeks now. Will I be much bigger in the bust immediately after the birth? Should I go for a bigger bra size than I am now (I've gone up 1-2 cup sizes from getting pregnant. I'm totally clueless on this point.

    Thanks.

I found this website solved some confusion for me and their advice was spot on:D I've bought one or 2 nursing bra's from Peacocks at £4 each, very comfortable and they look pretty too:) I got them in a 36D(pre preg I was 34C) and I think that even if I suddenly go up a size then they'll still do me for a little while...does that make sense? I will probs buy more nearer to my due date(only 27+5 atm). From what I've heard it can take around 3 days for the milk to come in which is around the time you'll erm...fill out:)

    Just reading about this http://www.anthonynolan.org/What-you-can-do/Save-a-life/Donate-your-umbilical-cord/How-to-donate.aspx
I would definately do it if i was going to one of these hospitals wondered if you ladies would?

Yes I would, not going to a hosp that does but I think it should be more broadly advertised.

Its a weird one... it said about getting a warm blanket and putting it over your chest, lol. I had a blanket in the tumble dryer so when that finished put it on my chest. Took few minutes but there has been definate pains since.. could be coincidence but seems a bit strange!! OH gave me the strangest look while I was doing it!!

I normally LOVE curry but all through pregnancy I cannot stand the stuff, it could be as I ate a takeaway in the beginning and was v v v sick :rotfl: it was disgusting. But even since I cannot eat indian or chinese food at all. I cannot even stomach pizza!

Hi dreambirdie, what did you make of the antenatal classe so far? Do you start of off the time with the midwife or the Physio. We ended up with the midwife first - our new catchphrase in the house is "Is that ok?". I hope you can get the sick line sorted ok. nothing worse than being at work when you feel rubbish.

Was wondering if someone could tell me if I'm right in thinking that the odd sharp pain at the bottom of my ribs could possibly be a small hand or foot wedged in there?

hey nepthys. yea we see the midwife first although on weds we snuck away before the 2nd half because i was STARVING!! :rotfl: plus i thought the physio bit the week before was a bit boring, albeit good if you have back problems etc. what was the physio bit this week like?

i have had that exact pain under my ribs, asked my midwfife about it because it was actually becoming unbearable sometimes and she said it was just due to the position of the baby.

think my bubs has flipped around and is breach now :( felt a big masssive turn about 2 days ago and all the pressure i was feeling "down there" has disappeared. hopefully he will turn back the right way again.

ooh ladies reading about your curries is gonna make me hungry! although i feel sicky again today, and when i feel like that the only thing i can handle is healthy food! isnt that weird! so i think i may have a salad tonight. how boring :o

I'm taking my rattiest old pyjamas in my hospital bag... I wouldn't want to bleed all over new ones...

My SIL just had a baby in Leicester, I wonder if she donated... Will have to ask my brother...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
