congrats ymakesmile:)
and durhamgirl congrats, was wondering how you were doing, must be so hard leaving him. Have you named him yet?
Rach... I don't think I've actually shared a bed with DH since being pregnant (or maybe even before!!!) Obviously we have shared the bed "for a little bit";););) but I just can't sleep as him even breathing disturbs me:(
Last night he stayed up to watch something then tried to sleep on sofa but couldn't so joined me in bed. We lay there listening to a neighbour having a BIG arguement (did consider calling police cos I was worried her OH was beating her:eek:) then he dozed off and I ended up on sofa:(
And 1 of the cats wouldn't leave me alone all night:mad: Maybe he can sense "something happening" soon!!sir_monster wrote: »

Nipped into town after church and exchanged something (which was a massive hassle as I'd bought it online) at mothercare - got a change mat though it is slightly too big for the change table:mad: so need to check if the babiesrus one is the same size. It's ok but I'd prefer it to fit neatly! Also picked up pack of cute 3-6 month sleepsuits and a little outfit 0-3 months at boots half price, £10 altogether, not super cheap but very nice and used advantage points so all free
Had massive roast at the in laws...I had 2nds of both main and pudhow come I can trough at lunchtime but hardly eat anything for dinner without wanting to throw it all up. Wondering whether to start having a hot meal in the canteen at work at lunchtime.
DH is playing a shooting game on ps3 and bubs is going mad!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
congrats ymakesmile and durhamgirl.
finished work this week so have been washing all baby stuff today and sorting out what we have and need, so i can start getting that over the next couple of weeks. Just packed hospital bag finally too, though it still needs the baby clothes in when they dry!
feels a lot more real now, was looking at little mittens and saying to oh, there will be a baby in them in 3 weeks!:j0 -
Congrats Durham! Hope your little man is home soon, sounds like you did really well avoiding a c section.
Smartie: your post made me laugh so much! I've been bouncing on my ball loads, not had sex as I think I upset OH last night, I basically told him to do me to get this damn thing out, it seemed to offend him so maybe tonight I'll be more polite! Can't eat pineapple I love it but it makes my mouth bleed!
I've been nesting for weeks, I have now found I wana do so much but I have no energy, I can't lift Hoover, I can't bend, and I'm aching.0 -

Thanks for the welcome all!
Congrats Durhamgirl, mine DS was born 34 weeks 4lb 8oz, were in NICU for 4 weeks with NG tube. I know its hard when they're in hospital but try and use this time to rest a bit if you can and recover. You'll have him home with you soon. Have you done the kangaroo care? used to love that xx
Hi Krystal, waw you've got a good memory! Hope your little girls are well. LO's been through so much bless him. He stil has reflux although its improving a bit, still up with him for hours in the night. He's had loads of tests ph studies etc. They decided not to perform fundo op yet but wait and see. I'm quite hopeful. He's also got very mild cerebal palsy from all the birth complications, but having physio and is getting better all the time. So its been a pretty tough 2yrs (that's why not been on much-no time) but hopefully now we are getting there.
Thanks for advice on headaches, I'm not dehydrated, tried that one. Never drink tea or coffee anyway and no sickness.
Thought it might be related to low blood pressure? Had to take paracetamol as ha's so severe, they're usually very effective as I never take them but not touched these headaches.
Could someone add me when they get a chance?
Thanks xx0 -

Welcome Lwcus! Sorry missed your post! Re: headaches, I have very low blood pressure normally, if it gets a tiny bit higher I get severe headaches/ migraines. I know pregnancy also makes headaches generally worse. I would take minimal paracetimals, drink plenty and put your feet up!0
