  • Thanks, I won't pretend I'm not terrified but they were adamant that he had to be born PDQ. The midwife even phoned the consultant while she was on holiday in Norfolk to check what to do!

Sorry, butting in again. Please don't be scared. DD1 was induced with a drip, she was my first baby and it was quick and easy.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Good luck durham girl and hope all goes well, babies do so well even when born early and obv sounds like he would be better born now than left where he is.

If you need some tiny baby clothes tesco and mothercare do some upto 5lb ones make sure its the right ones as both do early baby and tiny baby and one is upto sz 5lb and one is upto 7.5lb - very confusing!!

I'm feeling so alone today. OH went off up to work yesterday morning and isn't coming back til friday night....So I just feel like I'm stuck in limbo til then.

    Morning All,

Durham_Girl good luck for tomorrow. Am sure all will be fine and must admit am a little jealous that your jumping me to the mummy cuddles!!!

Olipops congrats on baby Freya. Thats a lovely name. good for the 2 hrs but boo to the no pain killers!

PP if your still reading the thread, in my opinion soappie was a little harsh, but I do think the sentiment was right and you do need some medical help. I am pig headed and stubborn and will cut my nose off to spite to face, please dont be like me. Your advise and experience has meant the world to me, so please look after yourself and bubs.

Am 35 weeks today, yipee. bubs has been head down for the past few weeks, but not yet engaged. Am getting really impatient now. Am getting a bit moody with the swollen ankles / feet, and am now starting to get hot flushes.

I would love for him to arrive in 3 weeks, that way I can finish my preparations - need nursing bras, and steraliser / bottles / breast bump (hoping to get the TT ones in the ASDA event at the weekend), but then also can have a lovely birthday (7th Sept) without the possibility of sharing with bubs or being grumpy as overdue!!!! If only babies came to order.

Why do you feel bad? The world would be boring if we were all the same :D

Drives me mad when OH watches wheeler dealers repeats all night, so it might as well be big brother sometimes :wall:

Well the monsters are away tonight, I need to get the twins room washed (sooo many scribbles :() so it can be painted. Then after that DD1 will have to go in their room for a few days so we can strip her woodchip and paint hers. And the hallway, and the living room *sigh* OH has taken the last week in August off to get some of this done but I'm hoping to get most of it done before that so I can (hopefully) chill a bit before Monster arrives :o

Just popping in to let you know baby Freya Rose was born on her due date yesterday. she weighed 9 pound 9 and arrived after a 2 hour labour fast but horrifying in pain terms as was too late for any releif etc. shes perfect and happy. not posted much but been an avid lurker so thanks to all you ladies for the hep you provide everyone else who comes on here.
    Congrats:j:j can't wait for a piccie:)
Well, I'm back from the hospital in one piece! Although not for long.... Sorry to those above me in the list, but I'm queue jumping! The munchkin's growth has slowed right down, in the last 2 weeks he's only put on an ounce, so I'm going in Thursday morning to be induced

I'll be 34+4 which is a bit earlier than I would have liked, he's estimated at 4lb7oz so he'll be tiny. It's a bit weird thinking that by the weekend I'll have a little boy. :T
Eep!!! Good luck for Thursday Durham :) I'm sure all will be fine:D

PP I'm not gonna bang on about what you should/shouldn't do but I do agree with the others:p

Giz nice to see you've made the leap over here:D

Hope alls well with everyone, with the obvious exceptions who I hope will get help;):) xxxxxxxx

Back from Dr, who was lovely but said although he'll refer me for physio and ask them to prioritise as pg and also was born with hip problems, it usually takes 8-10 weeks so not to get my hopes up. Said to keep as active as I can with v short walks and try swimming. As I knew it's not SPD, just normal pg pains although perhaps a bit more sever. But he said it will go back to normal v quickly after bubs is born.

Now having my usual weird slump/nausea which always comes about an hour after breakfast, once that's passed I will get on with some work.

I ordered one of those pillows too, I've got a bigger V pillow which I used to use for sitting up in bed and use to help me sleep - between legs and in front of bump, but thought this was too good to miss!

completely unplanned but I've managed to have mine due for the best part of the year for me. I have mine and OH mums birthdays in mid sept then no one till january so normally just deal with christmas but I can fit a baby in there nicely. DS is a june baby and DD feb so they are well spread out.

I'm back from the park, DS looks like he is about to fall asleep (edit has fallen asleep yay), they were racing around with a couple of other boys there and are worn out, so for the first time since the summer hols started I'm getting a bit of peace.

OH last day at work today so he has 2 days off before we go on holiday. Might go somewhere tomorrow then sort out all the packing on friday. Will do mine, kids and kitchen, toys etc today but sort OH when he is here on friday.

rach thats good the doc has referred you hopefully it won't be as long as that.

Nene dont feel bad I watch plenty of carp just not big brother.
