Congratulations Esio! David shares his birthday and name with my baby brother :)

Are you well stocked up with paracetamol?

Esio is one of the lucky ones who can now take proper painkillers, bf permitting!! I'm so jealous my back is killing me and I refuse to waste my time with paracetamol. Congrats Esio

Ive just been reading up on the clary sage oil apparently its one of the most potent essential oils you can buy and must never be used if you have consumed any alcohol (chance would be a fine thing). Also apparently we have to make sure its clary sage oil and sage oil can be very dangerous to pregnant ladies. Well i have my bottle stashed away for when i turn 37 weeks i ahve been told to use it in labour as well and massage it into my palms and soles of my feet as it works as a muscle relaxent and relieves tention as well as making your uterus contract about 50% more effeciantly. All sounds to good to be true but i will be giving it a go there is nothing to loose after all :-)

Well im off to drink my RLT and try and strip this purple out my hair wish me luck ive never stripped a colour from my hair before you watch it turn green or something awfull lol :-) x

14 years ago I don't think there was much in the way of stylish maternity clothes anyway so we'll let you off:D Nowadays there's no excuse with all these celebs etc being pg and bringing out clothing lines etc...THANK GOD:D

Could you not get some 3/4 length trousers???? I've found just keeping my ankles cool helps:)
Or you could just say, screw the world and stick some on anyway:) so long as they're not dungaree shorts:eek::p:rotfl:

Yep twas I:D She enjoys being cuddled like a baby so figured I'd give it a shot...she was fine(possibly coz she didn't realise what I was doing;)) until I decided I was gonna try and adjust the sling....she panicked and shot off lol Wish I'd got a piccie....looked hilarious:rotfl:

Took me ages(*cough*8yrs on & off *cough*:o) to pass in a manual too(mainly due to confidence in changing gears:o) and my 1st car is an automatic....LOVE IT, so easy to drive but I don't think it's as economical as a manual coz you're not in control iyswim...I'm currently driving my brothers car(mines up for MOT) and its a manual, was a bit rusty as 1st but I'm glad I persevered with passing in a manual..so many more options for me, plus manual cars tend to be cheaper than automatics;):)

lol fuzz, can just imagine you with your cat in a sling hehe :D. You did well with passing your test. Im going to see what its like to drive an automatic and decide from there.

Didn;t manage to get pic of my bump as when i got home i went to bed as was poorly with a miagraine. Will put one on when we come back from holiday, we go to cornwall tomorrow. Am looking forward to our holiday.

    She did :)

After a few very long days, baby David finally arrived yesterday morning (1st July) weighing 8lb 3oz. Was finally admitted to the labour ward at tea time on Wednesday and queued until 2am on Thursday morning to be given an epidural. Bit stressful as things didn't progress very well - cue various drips/baby distress/adverse reactions to epidurals (and their subsequent wearing off at the peak of syntocin induced contractions ) and some serious tearing and stitches - but - still managed a natural birth just before 10am yesterday. very impressed with the midwife care we got through the labour - one MW stayed with us and barely left the room for her whole shift - afterwards was a bit different but we've managed.

All in all I'm sore, uncomfy and shattered but we're both well and glad to get home today. Despite it being the hardest thing I've ever done - it's definitely the best and sososo worthwhile!

Hope you and your bumps are all well

CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the lovely little David.

    You did well girl :D

xmas omg i feel your pain i done the exact same thing a few years ago, although it wasnt a proper stripper i used a pre-lightener, mine was so bad the hairdresser wouldnt fix it as she was afraid it would fall out  so had to grow it for a while! then i gave up and just stuck a really dark dye on it :rotfl:

and I don't dye mine.. I don't feel the need!

    :p

I have had the most awful BH's all evening.. I also have a sneaky suspicion I have a minor leak.. this baby is getting alarmingly, scarily, terribly close and I am just not grown up enough to be a mummy!!

Would anyone like a small baby?
