Another chatty day for you lot! I do stalk at work, but never sign on just in case I get busted
Can I ask any of you ladies who already have kids - what should I be expecting of the MW home visit? She isn't coming until Wednesday arvo. Obviously I'm going to make sure the house is tidy, but is she going to want to have a look around and see what we've bought?

It is nothing to do with them what you have bought!! nor what you have in your hospital bag!!
She will ask about birth plans and if you have any questions.. she might ask what contraception you are thinking of after the birth.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Yes where is CAFC??!! And Michelle, hope they're both having mummy cuddles
Sales, I'm feeling the same tonight, just uncomfy everywhere and bump keeps going hard more frequently.
Off to watch BB!!xxx
:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Pigpen, I did wonder what it was all about. Bit nosy asking about contraception - made it to almost 30 without getting pregnant
(and it was planned when we did)
Suppose I'd better think about birth plan, although I know they're not something you can go by absolutely to the letter.
Haven't even consider hospital bag as yet. Might get a couple of granny nighties from Boyes down the road, only cost a couple of a quid, so no tragedy if they wind up in the bin after!

I was only in hospital for 6hours after I had DD but they mentioned contraception 3 times - in front of my mam I wasn't bothered but OH wanted ground to open up and swallow him.
Oh Hazzie not the dreaded bold
I'm sure I'm heading that way tooMam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0 -

Wow u lot are chatty tonight?!
Where is Cafc?
Went to tescos tonight, duno whether I lifted too much or just caught myself on the trolley but when I got to the tills I was in agony. I was going to ask for help but felt abit embarrassed, in the end I just paid for my shopping and sat in the car calming down. Duno wot I did but my bump was hurting and I had a stabbing pain in my foof? When I got home I was still in pain, thankfully it's eased now but I feel like the baby is pushing down a lot, kinda hurts to walk. Could just be baby getting bigger and changing position but as I've been so mobile so far it feels carpis this normal?
On a more positive note received the silvercross pram brochure and I've found 2 prams I want0 -
Budget - that's my thoughts exactly! Really don't think doing it is going to be on my immediate 'to do' list following sproglets appearance.

That doesn't work.. just accept the condoms and smile...
I have a latex allergy and play on that one!! But I also tell them it is none of their business and at my age I can sort it myself should I CHOOSE to!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
