    Morning ladies

Feeling a bit tired with not much get up and go this morning. Went to the pub with some friends last night and I think I have to finally admit that full term pregnant women and late nights are not a good mix! Don't really have much to do so just going to take it quite easy. (altho I will regret that tonight when I can't sleep lol)

Re vitamins I was taking pregnacare but switched to the Asda's own pregnancy vitamins because they were a lot cheaper. However after xmaslolly's vit E warnings and a bit of research on my own I've stopped as the levels of vit E in the Asda ones (20mg) are higher than recommended (15mg). The pregnancare ones only have 4mg in so they're fine. However with less than 3 weeks to go I dont think I'll bother with pregnacare now, altho if I can breastfeed I'll probably start taking them again. I'm doing enough pill swallowing atm with my calcium and EPO lol

Delain - glad to hear you got to listen to heartbeat - must have been very reassuring for you, and not too long to wait for scan :)

  • For anyone not doing a nursery, when DS was born I painted his room blue and used stickrounds to create a theme, they are paint friendly and great for making it feel a bit different

some Winnie the Pooh ones as I know we have some fans !!

I'm sure with research you could get them cheaper

These are a good idea. The house i bought last year had these in one of the rooms, it was just plain blue with jungle themed stickrounds which were great for kids. They were also very easy to peel off so redecorating afterwards wouldnt be a problem!

I've actually taken it all the way through as I don't really drink milk but it's for pain relief. Funnily enough the fiery pains I was getting in my hips at around 20 weeks stopped when I started taking this! If you google it there's quite a bit of evidence that it does help and has been used in pain relief for years

I think it's worth taking the EPO orally, just make sure you get one without vitamin E (read the back of the packs carefully!) I've got mine from wilkos, 87p for 30 capsules.

Oooh a shiny new thread - i love it!

Hi to you all! Hope you are all keeping well

Oh no - don't talk to me about iron levels, lol i was told i was anemic near the end of preg with DD, so iron tablets - well they made me sooooooo constipated :(*whispers all embarrassed:* and i poo'd little rabbit like poos when at pushing stage with DD *now hides head in shame under nearest cushion* :o:o:o:o

And now i'm getting all lethargic and feeling tired again 24/7 which are symptoms of anemia - I have been trying to beat it by eating spinach with every dinner, whether fresh or cooked. Must go get some orange juice to help absorb it now.

Have been listening to my NatalHypnotherapy CD - at first it was a bit weird. I stick my headphones in and have fallen asleep half way through twice now :p Hope it's getting in my head subconsiously :D It has been making me sleep deeper than norm though so that must be good.

I still have a sore throat but most other symptoms have gone now yay:j - Only thing is braxton hicks are back with avengance  MEGA STRONG and hot flushes whoooo they are not nice but good to know body is back on track i suppose ;)

Hey i made it through the 2 weeks :T, lol, hosp doctor was saying she was pretty certain i'll have him (cos of the positive result of that test) but nope he's still snuggly baking in here :D

I'm 34w1 today - YAY!!! If he stays put for 3 more weeks then i'll be very happy - then i'll prob be thinking of ways to evict him and fast so i can at least have a good shot of having him naturally, lol (i'm tiny, if he grows bigger than 7lbs they don't think i'll have much chance)

And who took the sun away???????? :(

I got sunburnt at the weekend....oooops, lol!

Must go locate a 99p store! Was this recent? x

Also if you're decorating the nursery here is one idea i found from somewhere else:

Its called a laser cosmos projector, instead of having those sticky star things on the ceiling this projector is just pointed at the ceiling and can be put on a timing socket. Its meant to be really relaxing and can be used for kids or adults etc.

I was thinking with some cool decorating and one of these you could have a childs room that would be timeless for years and years for a relatively cheap price.

Plain blue walls with a green bottom part, jungle stickarounds and a laser cosmos (£100 from iwantoneofthose) will cost you no more than £140 and you'll have a really cool effect that may soothe baby/toddler at night like a nightlight.

thats what it looks like. It looks better if you dont have a light shade in the middle of the room!
