Afternoon ladies - although just seems to be KitKat on here at the mo
Rach glad you are feeling must be a weight of your mind not having the commute and glad your boss is understanding unlike Kitkat's pig of a boss. My nice boss has left this week and we are getting a new one who didn't make a good impression at a leaving do to us as he said that he would rarely come to our office and to add to this he said at the table that he didn't know which mistress he was going to tonight (out of 2), plus he is married!! I am quite glad I'm leaving in 2 months.
Had a stressful commute in this morning as had to get a train further into London and was packed and no-one offered me a seat despite my badge and bump :mad:. Is different train company so don't have priority seats like mine so don't feel comfortable asking for a seat, think will complain to train company. Good news though trying to get back to work and all trains on this line delayed/cancelled so as is boiling in London decided to come home and take flexi time, so having relaxing afternoon watching Jeremy [STRIKE]Vile[/STRIKE] Kyle in a cool house :j:jThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I spent an hour dozing in bed but didn't want to post too many more posts!! Didn't really sleep as I was hungry but feel loads better for the rest.
There's a thread on old style about moneysaving in pg and this was linked to - nothing we don't all know but worth a read!
Must get showered and dressed soon and decide what we are having for dinner. Need to post in my sick cert too.

Hee hee! Too right. I have just been scoffing a cinnamon and raisin bagel, some choc hob nobs and a pear! Yummy, but naughty lunch.
I have been to B&Q this morning and bought paint for our hallway, it is the Cath Kidston range and was reduced to a fiver for a 2.5 litre tin, but I'm worried something is wrong with it as it seems ridiculously cheap! DH is going to slap it on the walls over the weekend so time will tell!
Off for my MW appt in a min. 38 weeks already! Woo hoo! Hopefully my iron levels will be OK this time, and she can have a look at my scan results which say baby is measuring fine for dates so that is good!
It is soooooooooo hot here today, it is gorgeous! Making me feel very happy, despite the fact that I am literally melting. I'm sat inside in the cool though with all my windows and doors open to try my best to enjoy the lovely weather without getting too hot and frazzled.
I went to the outdoor pool yesterday and despite being in the shade for most of the time, being slathered in F50, and only going in the pool for a couple of 20 min bursts I still ended up sun burned, my redheaded DD doesn't have any redness at all so obv it is just my super sensitive, pregnancy skin that can't stand the UV.0 -
fernliebee - i was just wondering where you were!
fernlie/pigpen - do you have one nappy bucket or 2? I am wondering about having 2 - one in loo and one in baby's room as I have over 30 nappies. Gonna try a wanted on netmums just in case anyone has any going spareMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I only have one bucket though I'm a bit rubbish at using it all the time. A lot of the time for wet nappies I just either shove them in the machine throughout the day then turn it on in the evening, or if washing machine is running then I rinse them through and put them in the bucket dry, I did wet pail the newborn nappies as they can get very stained, but it was a faff for me, so quickly stopped it. I think you will def find what works best for you very quickly. If you can get another one easily then it wouldn't do any harm to have a couple if you find your not using it you can always pass/ re-sell it on.
Right- gotta dash MW in 10 mins and have to walk over the road!0 -
thanks, we have a massive 7kg washer and i have so many nappies! I have put a wanted on netmums so I may get a couple for the price of one new one!
good luck with MWMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
