The worst is going from dark eyebrows to light hair, lol - i had to thin mine right out so they didn't stand out so much coz bleaching eyebrows is a big no-no hahahaha! I dye my hair red with Loreal Ferria, and I'm starting to get a bit rooty.
I'm very early on in preg, so should I wait till after 12 weeks to dye it, and are Loreal hairdyes generally safe to use when preggo?
TBH i am not sure - i was having mine bleached which i think is worse just days before i done my preg test. You could try doing the patch test again - just to see if you react now your preg. As far as chemicles being inhaled, my hairdresser told me that was old news, dyes these days generally are more gentle and not so toxic. Depends how cautious you are?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Im starting to think MGEB is secretly me just in a different location.... same height, same size, pale gothic skin when not made up LOL and I've done every colour under the rainbow on my hair, which is naturally blonde but I hate it blonde, i dont actually think it suits me.
atm my hair is a red brown, it started out a deep plum colour. I found that during pregnancy my hair colours have taken quicker, but faded quicker....
well only got out of bed at 11:20am LOL Woke up at 3:15am and just couldnt get back to sleep so just laid there for a while, eventually fell back to sleep at about 6...
Hoovering to do again today, ruddy dog (see something else MGEB and I have in common) LOL
Massive squeezy labour vibes to all who need them....

LOL - yeah tinting would mean you need to upkeep them but if your not too scared tinting em yourself is pretty easy and only needs doing about ever 4-6 wks. The other option is pencil - get a god one and feather so it looks natural, not draw a line, lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Makes me laugh when people have obvious drawn on eyebrows
Or you can get them powders that make up artists use, just like an eyeshadow but for eyebrows, i have never tried that though - i'd be scared i'd rub one off accidently, lol

:wave:Hi Kitkat thanks for asking about me. I'm signed off work now until I start my maternity leave which means I'll not be back until Sept 2011. Been off for the last 7 weeks, moderate depression & severe anxiety, panic attacks - I'm taking it easy pottering about, it amazes me how I manage to fill my days ( I couldn't possibly fit work in, I'm too busy )
Re avoiding hair dye - someone told me you could use hair mascara to cover grey, never tried it but it's an idea for root growth
Bulfer ( sp ) not sure if anyone answered your t.e.n.s Q, effective pain relief for back pain/labour
I'm getting leg cramps & jumpy legs lots - when I was expecting DS the midwife said to keep a pair of tights beside the bed, if you get cramps hold on to either end of the tights ( toe & gusset ) and loop them round your foot to help pull your foot towards your body, if really works & saves you getting up out of bed
26 + 2 today, starting to feel uncomfortable - don't know how I'll be able to manage the next 14/16 weeks:( but I'm sure I'll get there
TMI alert - have had really bad constipation (possibly related to stress/depression as well as pregnancy ) any tips ?? doc gave me laculose but it makes me fart alot:o , gives me cramps and takes days to work
Pigpen has been very quiet ( operation house clearance/decoration etc etc must have really taken off ) I wish I had half her energy
MGEB hope things are going well for you
Off to bed for a sleep while I canBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0
